Wolfiey Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Just wondering... why do people make such a big about ACE? Pay a yearly fee... for nothing, if you don't live near one of there outings??
Carnage Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Funny that you're new to the scene and you already know most of the problems behind ACE.
Wolfiey Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 Well, I have been reading usenet, aka google News Groups for a few months.. still haven't seen one good thing about ACE!!
SharkTums Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I think with the internet, ACE is pretty much no longer needed. You find out all about roller coasters and parks much better online then in any publications. And with any clubs there are politics involved...and who wants politics when you're riding roller coasters! Let's be careful here, we have lots of topics discussing the various 'club' aspect of the community!
spaceace12 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I am not sure what the big deal about ace is. They seem overly priced. I joined the club I am in so I can get into a coaster event and a cheaper season pass for Holiday World.
Airtime&Gravity Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Well with ACE, if it isn't in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Indiana, then it doesn't exist, sucks, or isn't worth mentioning. I believe one of their rules is that you can't say something bad about a coaster, and the group seemed to get to big for itself. Also ACE likes to complain...a lot, and because so(and their other actions), they give enthusiasts a bad name.
