coasterdude5
Haha, I laughed when I watched it. Hey, no one was hurt, unless the dude really did get kicked but he was able to chase the kid around so he wasn't paralyzed. IMO, you gotta know there's a risk for something like this when you're gonna be around little cranky kids and their parents.
GuruGuys
The guy that played Pluto posted comments for that video stating that the parents of the kid asked him if they could get video of Pluto chasing him. It was the other lady that pulled Pluto aside that had the problem. Once she found out there was no problem things were fine apparently.
hemmy
I don't care if that kid punched him in the balls, that guy went crazy. That kid will have mental problems for a long time.I would have told him to stop and found some other kid to take photos with or whatever they do. If he bothered me again I would have got his parent or got another staff member to help. That kid was running pretty fast for his age, though. He must have been scared shitless. Give me a f'n break. Manny In England
Yeah that must actually be quite traumatising for a kid. Being chased by someone twice your size dressed as a dog.

Awefully nice of the costume actor to comply, but with the proper editing of that video, it STILL makes for a potential lawsuit...especially if there are no witnesses to her asking Pluto beforehand. The parents of the kid had no problem, the lady that stopped Pluto was just some passerby thinking she was doing good not knowing the chase was staged. I don't see how a lawsuit would be possible from a third party that had nothing to do with the kid or his parents, unless you are talking about the kids parents deciding to do a lawsuit just for the heck of it, stating they never asked Pluto to comply? You can see the kid come back to Pluto when the lady is stopping him wondering why he still isn't being chased. If he was so terrified he wouldn't have come back towards Pluto but kept on running away. I doubt they'd have a case. -GG
easytoremember
I don't think it looked like pluto was playfully chasing him though. It looked like he was chasing him at full speed.
coastercrazed49
If the guy in the suit was trying to explain what happened. I would have a hard time taking him seriously with him looking at you with a big smile.
rabid disney
Im a Park Photographer and Character Chap is part of my role. Our characters chase kids in a fun way but Pluto did look like he was chasing the boy in a angry way. I think Disney Management is to blame because why didnt Pluto have a photographer or a chap with him. When my characters get hit in a bad way not a 2 year old accident way I step in and tell the guest to not do that again as it can lead to removal from the park. I think Disney were cut costing of there wages by not having a chap present. But also if the character did get hit in the groin he should have time out and gone backstage instead of what he did. coasterbilly
yeah, if the character was asked to chase him, cool, but this definitely looks like he was trying to CATCH him. Chasing and catching is different, he would've been jogging, but he was sprinting and then looked like he was pissed after that lady stopped him, gotta love how many times this occurs and why kids have to do this to these characters.
