Superstition Mountain, before the Lost Coaster!

It's not a complete ride-thru, unfortunately, but it's the best vid I've found.

 

 

It's a relatively new upload so many of you may not have come across it yet, plus I know how many of you loved the coaster version on the Midwest trip.

Yeah, that ride was pretty bad and pointless. I remember going on it in like '96 or '97. I don't think anyone would ever miss it.

^ That's because back then it had only one hill and the turn after the hill was pure pain. I remember getting stuck on the lift to get back into the mountain after that hill almost everytime I went on it. Although it was cheesy, I thought it was unique. I haven't ridden the new version, but that looks really unique.

 

Of course, its been ages since I've been to IB. If I remember correctly, the falling star was the new attraction the last time I was there.

The "steep hill and turn" sign is actually still there - the park left it as a tribute to the old ride.

The old version of the ride looks so cool, too bad they took it out and replaced it with that silly old coaster. It looks pretty awsome, and the goat with the light flashing behind it... pure genius!

 

 

 

 

Seriously, though, as far as replacing the ride with a coaster of the same concept, chart one awsome point for Indiana Beach, hard to beleive what the ride is now has ANYTHING to do with the ride I just saw.

I was actually surprised how much air time it actually had. Though I don't rate it up as a good coaster.

Oh, I love it as it is now as a coaster. But, but not too re-rideable.

I disagree, I love locosumo as a coaster and ifnd it to be very reridable. then again i ahvent ridden it twice in a row so i wouldnt know

Yeah...3-4 times in a DAY is fine, juts not in a row.
