benzo41190 Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Well today the yearly Newburg Fair was beign set up again. I got back from our trip early and we saw the Mr. Edds fair company trucks pull in the park and I knew this fair was going to suck. All of the rides were repainted but still are crap and they had the "Hi Roller" again for the past 5 years. Here are some photos of the setup today. I even watched them set up the "Hi Roller" and I even got footage of it! I dont have a good computer so there is no way for me to share it. I did get a picture of it before and after.

DenDen Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 THIS is the vomit machine of the century. I rode Cobra in Washington County, PA, and it went forward, and backward. The closest i ever came to vomiting on a ride of any kind.

benzo41190 Posted May 31, 2005 Author Posted May 31, 2005 Well today only one more thing came, the little dragon coaster! It still counts as a credit! There were some rides built up and some kids swimming in a poluted river. Also the people setting up the dragon didnt know were to put the piece of support. I actuall dared to go IN the park and i actually talked to some of the carnies. confused carnies this ride is only supposed to go half of what it does. When you ride it you feel like you are on the Goliath helix for 2 mins. the re-painted tilt a whirl ticket booth collapsed slide some carnie kids fishing. look at the crooked sign. The supports that hold up the sign are supposed to be a perfect line but they are crooked.
memphish Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 ^ I love the Orbiter (Typhoon). The last time I rode one at the Mid-South Fair, it was running pretty slow and not that great of a ride. I remember being younger and it just smashing you into the car, and you straining to keep your neck straight.

For the first time I saw... -carnies "washing the rides with soap" -Warning signs on the rides -new paint jobs -the most big ride capasity -a tall upsidown ride Ok well the fait starts Friday and so far the rides are still comming. Today (a Thursday) some new rides came.. -High Flyer -Ferris Wheel -Zero Gravity (round up) So enjoy the pics and I will have video and on-ride pics tomorrow! this is a new dragon which means a new credit! the sunset hi roller pic The new Zero Gravity ride (round up) the high flyer completed! 8:00 PM Thurs the high flyer Thurs morning, in front of my house!
