CoasterNut17 Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Hello! This is a park I started a few months ago, and has a couple different themed sections. It sort of is a cross between Cedar Fair's attempt at themeing certain rides, and Six Flag's way of having a ton of trees and ride clones. I actually finished the park two weeks ago, but I'm going to do this in updates. Make it cooler! SCR20.BMP Overview. There is also two flats, one being a roto-drop, and the other an enterprise, near the turn in the path heading up to the Mouse. More soon! SCR19.BMP This coaster is called Shockwave, a totally awesome Shwartzkpohf (sp?) double looping coaster that was relocated from another SF park. SCR18.BMP A very intense wild mouse. SCR17.BMP SLC. SCR14.BMP A short walk down the path and you come to the park's first wooden coaster, Sawmill. Note: I was in the process of naming the coaster, so that is why it says Sawdust all over the place. Lol. SCR16.BMP Nex to that, we have a small kiddie coaster called Little Legaue. SCR15.BMP Moving on, we have a water ride themed to a small town that had gotten hit by a tsunami. Also, the park's sky tower. SCR13.BMP Next to Whirlwind, a small flat ride called Twist. SCR12.BMP To start, the park's first coaster, Whirlwind.
brandon Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 nice park, and you still have a lot of room for expansion
CoasterNut17 Posted June 3, 2007 Author Posted June 3, 2007 Next update: SCR30.BMP Teaser pic. B&M track! Till' next time... SCR28.BMP Overview. SCR27.BMP The other station on Six Flags Express. SCR26.BMP Also found a spot for a rustic (4)-D theater. SCR25.BMP Station and back (straight) spike. I decided to put this coaster right on Celebration Lake, just to make it more purdy! SCR24.BMP Oh! What's this I see? V2 (Vertial Velocity) . SCR23.BMP The first stop on the Six Flags Express railway. It will later take you around 4 different exit points. SCR22.BMP A little top spin hidden in the trees. SCR21.BMP An aweome coaster that's very compact, and gives a very increased speed feel.
Eric_Smith Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Just some advice, don't use pre-built rides. It makes the park "not your own".
CoasterNut17 Posted June 3, 2007 Author Posted June 3, 2007 ^Yeah, this isn't my best. The back half is mostly my coasters now. I also modified some of the ones that are prebuilt. I really do like creating my own!
ebtkid Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Shockwave should stay at SFoT for a long time, until it washes away with Johnson Creek. Oh and its spelled Schwarzkopf.
Corkscrewy Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Yeah I most definetly agree. Make your own rides, anyone can drag and drop
rollerdude Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Thats a cool looking park, better than I could do. The name really adds to it too.
CoasterNut17 Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 Thanks for all the comments! I've got another park I'm working on now called Adventure City, and I'm paying A LOT of attention to themeing. It will feature a city section, an Africa section, and an american forest. All of my rides in that park are MINE. Again, thanks for the advice! Â P.S.-I stated that this park is already built, and on the other side I have a Vu clone and a Cyclone clone, so don't be to hard on me...C'mon! I mean it's a Six Flags park after all!
CoasterNut17 Posted June 23, 2007 Author Posted June 23, 2007 Update: SCR39.BMP Overview of the new section. You can see how big this park is getting! SCR38.BMP A beautiful woodie in the back section. SCR37.BMP I also added another train station and a ferris wheel to this side of the park. SCR33.BMP Back half (finale) of the seven looper. SCR35.BMP Overview of the new B&M coaster, Alpine Summit. SCR31.BMP Another view. SCR32.BMP The B&M is part of a new snow themed section of the park.
coastercrazed49 Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 I dont know why but I really like that new woodie it just looks relly nice. Â Keep up the good work!
CoasterNut17 Posted June 24, 2007 Author Posted June 24, 2007 Thanks! The next update is almost the rest of the park. 'Till next time...
coasterJunkie94 Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 NO, NOT SHOCKWAVE!We want it to stay at SFoT... Amen thats one of my Fav rides there!
Huskers2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Ya seriously that really isnt your park you basically used all-prebuilt rides
CoasterNut17 Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 Ya seriously that really isnt your park you basically used all-prebuilt rides Didn't we all kind of "get it" already?
coasterfan200692 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Not bad, others have commented on originality issues, but I don't like the name, it isn't very attractive, Seaweed Lake?. I think you can do better. Overall, nice though.
CoasterNut17 Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 Not bad, others have commented on originality issues, but I don't like the name, it isn't very attractive, Seaweed Lake?. I think you can do better. Overall, nice though. It's all seaweedy! What are your guys' suggestions on names, then? I'm really not a good namer. Thanks for the comments!
coasterfan200692 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Six Flags Grand forest Lake if you want something fancy or Six Flags Celebration Lake for a family kinda park, or Six Flags Lake Forest for something modest but kinda unoriginal.
CoasterNut17 Posted June 26, 2007 Author Posted June 26, 2007 Hmmmmm. Six Flags Celebration Lake sounds good to me! Anyone else want to put their two cents worth in before I officialy change the name?
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 I like SFCL as well. I think that should be the name!
CoasterNut17 Posted June 27, 2007 Author Posted June 27, 2007 Okay, then! It's final. The name is now Six Flags Celebration Lake. Thanks for all the great suggestions!
coasterfan200692 Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Your welcome, I'm glad I could be a help to you.
