tngdiablo
My Physics textbook had an SLC as the opening picture for one of the chapters. I'm too lazy to pull it out and look at what the topic was and the longer I stay away from Physics, the better.
chmilo24
I also remember a science book I had in the 8th grade had a whole article on the Wild Thing at Valley Fair, and it's designer. I had that book, it also talked about how the Santa Monica West Coaster is considered his greatest work. Also, my Algebra book had a problem about Son of Beast where we had to calculate how much momentum it needs to go through its loop. But at the beginning of the problem it went on how it is the GREATEST ROLLER COASTER EVER!!!!!!!!.

Menghini
I can't recall whether I ever saw a coaster in one of my school books, but if there would be a coaster picture in a dutch school book it would probably be a Vekoma!
Théo the little french
It's funny to see rollers coasters on school books! In France there's no chance to see it on a school book! That's what I like in the USA: roller coasters are in you culture (that's what I think maybe I'm wrong) whereas in France I wonder if French people knows what's roller coaster! (they only know Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and the famous Boomerang!)
