WillMontu Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 As some of you already know, today is the annual Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day. There aren't any strings attached, and tips go towards more ice cream, toppings, and they get donated to local charities. It's true. Check it out yourself at your nearest Ben & Jerry's More community involvement stuff. Hey Robb, ever tried this? Inside... For the ACEr in everyone. Unfortunately, I didn't bring any extra change Nearly there... The local Ben & Jerrys' has higher capacity than Deja Vu This is the line for the Gainesville location. I wonder if they have FastPass
TheLastGunslinger Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I completely forgot about Free Cone Day! There's a Ben & Jerry's right off campus too...
IceDragon Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 oh. my. god. why doesnt England do one of these????? I HATE IT!!!! random fact: i bought a big tub of B&J Chocolate Fudge Brownie Pieces to myself at the cinema as i didnt have any money for anything else... plus i love it!!!! also, whats the Vermonster challenge, and how much would it cost if you lost? I'm sure i could do it!
Louise Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I loooove Ben & Jerry's. Cookie Dough is my favourite. When I was living with my ex he used to hate that I'd pick out the cookie dough, eat some of the ice cream, but just leave the half a tub of vanilla in the freezer.
Wes Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Do they have Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream in the parlors? That stuff is amazing.
krouvi Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I used to work on Ben & Jerry in Israel ages ago. I really like the Brownie it is the best ever.
dandaman Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 whats the Vermonster challenge, and how much would it cost if you lost? My guess is one helluva brain freeze/stomach pain.
WillMontu Posted April 17, 2007 Author Posted April 17, 2007 The Vermonster costs about $30. There's an article on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermonster Looks like my local parlor holds the record for the lightest person to finish a Vermonster in an hour
TheLastGunslinger Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 The Vermonster reminds me of the Kitchen Sink you can get at Beaches & Cream (the ice cream parlor at the Yacht and Beach Club at WDW).
PKI Jizzman Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Cold Stone did this a while back....it was great!
IceDragon Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 The Vermonster costs about $30. There's an article on Wikipediahttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermonster Looks like my local parlor holds the record for the lightest person to finish a Vermonster in an hour sounds good... i'm willing to give it a go
thrillrideseeker Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 IMO Ben & Jerry's is way overrated. I mean seriously it is just ice cream what is the big deal? It taste like normal ice cream to me. ~Matthew
jappi Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 250grams cost like 7$ in sweden. (I want ben&jerrys!!!)
