Sasquatch Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Hello hello hello welcome to my third instalment of retarded coasters! This week, it's an Arrow Hyper Coaster. Anyhoo, enjoy! By the way before i get trampled into the dust for it being excessively rough, it was designed that way to fit in with the other Arrows out there Awesum Arrow Hyper Coaster.nltrack DOWNLOAD ME!! COMMENT!! ETC!!
Sasquatch Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 CRAP I just forgot, after the lift hill at the bottom of the first drop, a support goes through the track. Be a dear and remove it, would ya?
Top Thrill Dragster Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 That was actually really really GOOD, and it was not rough at all. The only thing missing is good airtime on your ride.
Sasquatch Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Ok can you please make it clear what good airtime is?! Over that first camelback you reach -0.9g, which is alot more than some rides! You don't have to go much further for it to be dangerous! To me, airtime is anything zero-g or below so i thought it quite a bit
jarmor Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Did you ride your coaster? Immediately after the first drop you run into a support! The track is too close to other track and the station some parts during the ride. I think what he means about air time is that there isn't many instances of it. If I had to rate this coaster overall (design, ride, originality) I would have to give it a 6 out of 10.
vjgx Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Nice job. Pretty smooth overall, with some random jerks here and there. Definitely has the style of an old Arrow coaster, too... And I don't see why everyone's complaining about the lack of airtime... It has a lot in my opinion!

Uh, if you read this thread you would see that he did state there was a support there and kindly asked everyone to move/remove it. What you stated is kind of rude considering it's blaintly stated.
xascher Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Airtime is in the line of preference, or maybe they used an ealier/later version. Anyway, some people prefer the pure 0 G, which gives the weightless feeling, -.5< Gives a reverse gravity affect.
Sasquatch Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 If people wanted a totally smooth, heartlined, airtime-filled, safe, adequately supported, enjoyable coaster then they should be looking at an Intamin, not an Arrow Hyper. I specifically made it to induce a certain amount of HOLY CRAP!!!ness in it, and is the track too close if it's more than six feet away from the riders as they go underneath? It's called a head-chopper, and even if people were that dumb-assed to put their arms up im sure they wouldn't be six feet long!!
coasterfan200692 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I really like it. It seemed like a real roller coaster. But, it also seemed like a roller coaster tycoon roller coaster with all of those straight hills with no wave like flow. I do know that sometimes these type of roller coaster do things like that like on the Vortex at PKI. Good job though.
The_Raf Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Very good track, i'd like to try this one in real do you knw how much u could earn by creating it?? if you have a lot of money of course 9/10 !! due to that stupid support, else i had given you a 10 So i fixed tht stupid bug awesum_arrow_hyper_coaster_183.nltrack The O-so Awesome RollerCoaster by: uhm, well not by me, by the guy at the top of this topic
