My latest creation for those of you who love compact coasters.

 

there are alot of real close calls with supports and stuff, but they're just far enough to provide a fast paced, crazy ride. hope you enjoy your ride on DESTRUCTION!

Hmm...

 

The first... "drop" helix thing, is quite gerstlauer-esque, but not how a eurofighter would be. Also some of your turning elements are a bit eliptical, and some of the curves have corners... try smothing those out.

Good concept, poorly pulled off. The track was EXTREMELY rough, pumpy, high laterals where there shouldn't be. Just using the 1.6 smoother should help some of the track problems. Overall a nice try, just give the track a bit more time.

 

Also some of the support connectors were bad. Try using this guide when doing supports, the end result will be MUCH better.

 

I'd love to see a V2, as this was a very interesting concept.

 

The download is a Schwarzkopf...

 

And the lats and vertical G'd killed me like a billion times.

 

Do you have 1.6? The ride is defaulted to Eurofighter 2 (a 1.6 type) and loaded in that style for me.

Well then why complain that it opened with Schwarzkopf and forces were out of control, when the topic clearly says 1.6 (and with the 1.6 vehicles) forces were fine?

Yeah, that and you're 13. Sounds like a personal problem to me. Agreed with SFNE, stop complaigning if it's not his fault.

Lol... Basically you just click a node and press CTRL G (or edit menu > smooth) and it will give you a good idea on handle lengths. It doesn't work too well if you build with A LOT of hand placed nodes (like myself) but for your ride it should help a lot.

 

Some people say it should be used as a diagnostic tool only, but it should vastly improve the majority of people's trackwork on it's own.

Well I dont know if you already know this but if you right click on a node you can smooth it. But sometimes it can totally mess up your track.

Me being thirteen has some sort of effect on this? How does this seem to be a personal problem? And I never KNEW it was set to "Eurofighter 2." Sorry for being human and making a mistake for goodness sake.

Well the way I see it, when someone downloads a coaster that clearly says it's for a version they don't have, shouldn't they expect it to run poorly? Even if it's opinion, the topic says 1.6, which he doesn't have, so he shouldn't critique as if this is "as is" (as it's clearly not). A simply "I ran this in 1.5, so I'm not sure this is how it should have been" would have worked.

 

About age, I'm not too sure what BiCoastal Kid meant. But the right to correct a mistake? Come on, he had the opportunity to do so in his first post (as I said in my first paragraph) and AGAIN in his second post, but made no attempt to do so.

 

I think we are carrying this out a bit too far; however this simple issue could have been resolved with one line. Sorry for "hijacking" your thread FLIPDUDE, I understand it was good intention behind it and should be solely for feedback. However I have seen this type of behavior from Calaway before, and I think it should be addressed.

lol @ ageist. Is that even a real term?

 

I dont care how mature you think you are, untill you reach something like 22+ you really havent begun to really mature. You are maturing, but far from it. And in reality, it takes a lifetime.

 

But at 13, you dont have much room to claim you are mature. Just think about that...

Well, I'm sorry for not being some superhuman beast unable to make mistakes such as you claim. Maybe I accidentally missed that in the title? What exactly did I do? You claim I'm thirteen but can't really be mature until I'm 22 or so? Well, I'm pretty sure if you had some of my life experiences you'd be a lot more mature than a normal kid your age. And no, I'm not asking for pity, and I know I'm still going to get jumped on for trying to get it [witch I'm not] but I never did anything but miss a stupid peice of info in the title. What really did I do to cause this?

 

Whatever, I'm not responding to this anyway. Go ahead, act like you've never been my age. You can't tell me I'm immature because of my age, you have no proof, and SFNE, where the hell have you seen me "act like this?" Meaning make a small mistake that has no significance? I promise you if one of you did the same mistake nobody would jump on your back. It's all just based on the member, isn't it. Maybe that's why nobody views my coaster threads... infact maybe thats why people don't read my threads in general here.

TO FLIPDUDE:

Whatever though. You're coaster looks cool, but "I RODE it IN NLSMITS 1.32358y24323u487r78we6r98w7yufhgdkhfg SO ITS DIFFRUNT." It was fun but was painful. In my version of NL anyway. Keep trying, you'll get it. Buster's smoother's a great tool also.

 

Now if I made a mistake, please don't rip me to shreads for something so stupid.

To get back on topic here and away from the fighting. the coaster actually looks pretty cool to ride and it looks like fun. i dont have NL so i cant go into if its rough or not but the tunnel looks like a fun part of the ride. Do you think you can post a pic of the overview of the ride?
