FLIPDUDE Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I don't know anything about the one in orlando, but hte one in cali really fries my bunions. they put in all the theming budget into the beginning and the end of the ride, those big screens and treasure chambers. once the darn thing actually launches, all you get is a couple of neon ghosts and a 30 second cheap thrill. ...I still loved it though, and rode it many times, but that's only because I had a VIP pass. I honestly beleive thought htat that would have been money better spent if it were sent to africa. To solve some of the hunger their, or at least give them a nice little boomerang. Little starving africans need to get their credits on. ...for the record, I think that, even if jokingly, that was the most insensitive thing I've said outside of a comic XS
Nemesis Inferno Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 ^^Same with Florida, so much great theming, then the neon ghosty things...Fortunately split with the fake station scene though Also, I did find that I got a higher amount of airtime in the back row, hence I was always glad for it via single rider... This is great for reminding me of great times that are had in Florida...How I miss it already.
coasterrider1998 Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 Cool. Looks like you guys had fun. Dude we brought fun to another level. /Cr98\

KKAddict127 Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 The CA and FL versions are completely different. They were built in differently shaped buidlings (CA was built in the ET building, FL's in King Kong) so naturally the layouts differ. You can see a POV of the FL version And btw, yes, I am the "Steve" mentioned.

jedimaster1227 Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I think the fake station adds a little bit to our ride, but the finale just gliding through the mummy ghosts sortof lacks. But, then again, I have yet to try out CA's version so I can't really judge.

CA's only positive thing is the fact that part of the track it goes in reverse. aside from that it's basically nothing you cant see in the FL version, and even less.
