Golfie Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Here is some really nice footage of our new Pirates of the Caribbean Pinball Machine! The video lasts about half of a minute and is a little less than 12 MB in size. Enjoy! POTC 12.2.06.zip Comments & Criticism appreciated.
Thrillrider15 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 That's a sweet pinball game. Better than any other pinball game I've played before (especially the one I played, where the flippers didn't work ). I'll have to play that sometime. A good movie + a pinball game of a good movie =
Cameron Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Great video .. This site needs more pinball! I sent a copy to Dennis and Dwight at Stern (who designed the game) and they were pretty happy. In fact there's an autographed backglass with your name on it (literally!) waiting for you. Cameron (blaa blaa blaa .. pinball) Silver.
jaap Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Very nice video indeed. Erik Johnson Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I would probably kill for a Theatre of Magic pinball game.

Joe Cool Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Sweet pinball machine!! I have the Adams Family pinball machine in my basement. Glad that Stern is still keeping pinball alive.
Cameron Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 ^^ I have no idea what colour pen was used to sign the backglass, sorry! But I trust Dwight, so I'm sure it'll stand out. cameron silver as in THE cameron silver who did the software for great classics as cirqus voltaire and scared stiff? That would be me, yes .. (I also did Star Wars Episode 1, but for some reason people are never too excited about that! ) The "Kahuna Team" with Jake Lloyd (who played Anakin Skywalker). This was taken at a Star Wars convention in Denver in May 1999. Myself standing in between John Popadiuk (the game designer) on the right, and Jim Shird (manager of the whitewood lab) on the left. We working on the second version of the Cirqus playfield (called a whitewood since there's no art). (Winter 1996/1997) "Team Stiff" with Elvira at the coin-op trade show in Dallas in the fall of 1996 (wow, long time ago!)
BelizeIt Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Nice video Golfie, you must have one heck of a great Rec Room! What else is in your Rec Room, perhaps an UltraCade???
jaap Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 nice pictures,. Every time I see a picture of elvira she looks tons of fun to meet in person, and I am not oly talking about cleavage (is that spelled correctly??? but you know what I mean). I really hope that popadiuk will one day return to pinball designing, I love his work. And yes excluding star wars: episode 1, you can tell he didn't like how the pinball2000 platform turned out.
Golfie Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 Nice video Golfie, you must have one heck of a great Rec Room! What else is in your Rec Room, perhaps an UltraCade??? We WERE going to get a Pac Man 25th Anneversary Arcade cabinet, but we got POTC instead. Other than the two pinball machines, we have a ping-pong table and a TV, sectional sofa, and all of our gaming systems.
Ccron10 Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Hey! My friends who own a campground have that pinball game in their game room!
Golfie Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 ^Neat! Do you know what pinball machine it is?
derwood Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 We do need more pinball here. Cameron, if I had known you worked on Star Wars I, I would have bought that machine instead of Star Wars Trilogy. Daron "my dining room is an arcade" Aldrich
CoasterFanatic Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Wow Cameron, I never realized you were quite the pinball celebrity. I hand around the scene a little in Pittsburgh (big pinball town) and am quite the body table king. // guess I hand my pinball crown to him
