DallasAlvey Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Yesterday we all went Knott's Halloween Haunt. Just in case you were wondering, Knott's just about ruined it. We we were going to go last weekend but we planed on buying the tickets the day we went but they didn't let anyone buy the day of the event on the phone or the internet. That really sucked so we waited until this weekend. When we got to knotts there was like an hour and a half line to get into the park. It was REALLY crouded like millions of people there. First we go and ride the log ride which had an hour line. That was cool there was these wolf dudes shaking cans through out the ride. We didn't get it to say "sit down." Then we just walked around the park getting chased bye monster dudes. Beth just about had a heart attack when she got chased bye a clown with a chainsaw. On the internet it said that there was going to be a maze in Ghostrider's line. Of course there wasn't. Stupid Knott's! So we waited 2 hours to ride Ghostrider....Then we left..... yes we only rode two rides. I didn't get my SilverBullet or my Xcelerator credits. Beth was mad because we didn't do the Grudge maze.
robbalvey Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 ^ Hey Dallas, Sorry you didn't have the best of nights at Knott's...next time we take you guys to the park, we'll make sure you get your credits! --Robb
disneygurlz2s Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Wow! Young Mr. Alvey has joined the TPR gang! It does suck when you get to the park and they are packed and things aren't what you think they are going to be! But at least you are brave enough to go to that sort of thing in the first place. I wouldn't set foot in any park's haunted anything and my daughter is the same way! Have a happy Halloween Shari
DallasAlvey Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Actualley I've been a TPR member for about a month now. This is my first topic started though. Haunt wasn't that scary a little bit over rated. Dad that sounds really fun and I definetly want to ride Xcelerator and Silver Bullet.
kennywood!007 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Kinda sucks you didn't get the credits you wanted. Im sure you'll get them soon!
the sound Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Beth just about had a heart attack when she got chased bye a clown with a chainsaw. So is Knotts sponsered by Pepsi?
Ryan King Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 That was cool there was these wolf dudes shaking cans through out the ride. Haha! Nice Dallas! Shaker Cans! Glad to hear you had SOME fun! I mean, seeing your sister scared to DEATH from a Clown with a Chainsaw MUST be fun! Too bad about your credits...youll get them soon! -Ryan *Pound It Dallas!*
RaptorBoyASU Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 The lines were really bad on Friday night too. We got to do all the haunted mazes, but only rode 1 coaster (Ghostrider) because the lines were so long. We still had a lot of fun though. We did the Grudge maze and you didn't miss much. Asylum, 13 Axe Murder Manor, and Red Beard's Revenge were much better, and were everyone's favorites. Next year I'm going to make sure to go early in October to avoid all those lines.
DerekRx Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I'm somewhat anxious to go to Haunt sometime. I hear good things from some people, bad things from others. Next year definitely looks like my year to go, and not on a weekend. Poor Dallas. At least now he's tall enough to ride Jaguar...again Still convinced in Heath's theory "Cedar Fair's goal is to make every other park look like crap so Cedar Point looks good"
