benzo41190 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 So i was digging in our photo albums today and found some park photos. The first set is from 1994 during my first visit at SFGAm. here are some Demon riders holding there ears in pain this was my favorite ride there.....at the time here we are all wet here is a photo of Splash Water Falls. If you look in the circle, me and my dad are kneeling trying to get really wet yeah for random sideways pic! here are the slides of ass burning death....wow my dad had some hair back then the Demon....my first upsidown ride me and my sis in front of the Bat mobile! heres me and my sister in front of Shockwave
CP_RULES Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Is your sister hot!? In the second to last pic she looks like she really knows how to work a pole Great Retro TR, Im really liking the old pics.
CP_RULES Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Well if you can consider 1991 retro (as the two other retro PTR's from '91 were considered) then I dont understand whay you cant count '94. Heck, I was only two years old then!
steel Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Still looks just like it did in '98. That's a little sad...
Olsor Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 ^^^ "Retro" is just how we refer to any trip report not from the last few months/years. Don't worry, the year 1994 isn't retro yet. I'm sure it'll have its day, though. Older women will be getting Hillary Clinton haircuts, younger women will be getting "Rachel" haircuts (Jennifer Aniston), and we'll all be craving the sensitive hits of Counting Crows and Gin Blossoms. Nice Photo TR!
benzo41190 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 Those were like the only "ride/coaster" photos I could find from then. There were many more but there were just like family shots. I also have... -raging bull opening year -raging bull 2000 -v2 and DeJa Vu opening year -2004 with friends -And Millenium Force opening year photos

bdstrom Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Wow, that PTR bought back memories. 1994 was the first time I've visit SFGAM afte years of begging my parents. I have literally begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, begged, and begged 100x and my parents were stubborn as heck. (ironically, they took me to Cedar Point per my request several years later which is further than SFGAM) Ended up begging my grandparents once and they took me there all the way from Minnesota. Yeah baby! Psst, what happened to your wrist?
benzo41190 Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 I broke it on Demon... just kidding! Actually, I was riding my bike and I crashed into the garage door and fell on top of a rock. I then broke my arm because it twisted on the side of the rock. That was like 4 or 5 weeks after I broke it so all I needed was a wrap then. It was pretty much healed by then.
mcjaco Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Thanks for making me feel old... My buddy and I skipped out of our afternoon classes (Senior year in HS) Opening Day in 1993, so we could be one of the first on Batman.
