RBOrrell
To be perfectly clear, are the passes sold at other Cedar Fair passes valid for PCW? From PKI's web site: "CEDAR FAIR MAXX PASS – NEW! A Cedar Fair Maxx Pass gives passholders access to Paramount's Kings Island for the rest of this year and all of the 2007 season! PLUS, this pass also gives guests access to all 12 Cedar Fair ride amusement parks (including 3 in Ohio) for the 2007 season, including: Paramount’s Kings Island - Cedar Point - Geauga Lake - Knott’s Berry Farm - Dorney Park - Valleyfair - Worlds of Fun Michigan’s Adventure - Paramount’s Carowinds - Paramount’s Kings Dominion - Paramount’s Great America - Canada’s Wonderland"
redfoot12
They still haven't posted information for Geauga Lake and Cedar Point's 2007 season passes.
taytig
This just in.... Hi David, I received your message regarding the availability of the Maxx Pass at Wonderland. The 2007 Wonderland Maxx Pass will be available for purchase in November on our website for $89.95 (plus tax). If you have any further questions, please contact me. Regards, Dave Dave Phillips Director of Marketing & Sales Paramount Canada’s Wonderland 9580 Jane Street Vaughan, Ontario L6A 1S6 So it seems that we will have the option to buy a hopper - for not much more than the usual season pass pricing. Looks like a summer trip to GL and the point next year for my family
niiicolaaah
^Thank God. Now i don't have to go to another state to get my pass. (EDIT:Whoops. PCW is another country! but it's only 90 mins from me. The other options are like 8 hours away)
Carnage
That's a relief. Wonder what took this long to announce it?
CP_RULES
Why is the CF MAXX Pass more money everywhere else? At WOF, its only $84.95. I am planning on buying a Maxx Pass next year from WOF, it will be my first season pass ever and Ill use it at both WOF and CP (and possibly some other parks too!). Im pretty satisfied with this, I think its a GREAT deal.
Carnage
^ Actually PCW is probably cheaper once you factor in the currency conversion.
bratman
I think part of the difference in pricing is that they take into consideration what the likihood is of the pass being used often at other parks, on top of the cost of using it at their own park. The Cedar Point pass is most expensive of the bunch likely because a) CP is the flagship park in the chain and b) Geauga Lake is an hour away, and PKI is 4 hours away. Someone living in, say, Columbus, Ohio could easily make day trips to any of those 3 parks. A PCW user might only make an annual trip to another park or parks in the chain, as the closest one is 5 hours away (GL) and CP is 6 hours away, and so on...... This is all good news to me, though. I am planning on going to the ACE convention next year, and it will be spending parts of 4 days at PKI (among other parks). I also want to go to the CP and GL coaster events which are on the 2 days prior to the start of the convention. This will make the trip SO much cheaper.
