niiicolaaah
So with school quickly approaching, I decided it was time for another trek up to Canada's Wonderland. Crossing the border by myself was amusing; the customs guy was an enthusiast and I ended up sitting there for like 5 minutes chatting with him about various parks. At one point he said something like "I'm a fan of any ride that will give my kidneys a bashing". LOL!!!! After we all ended up getting stuck in traffic, I met up and hour late with Paul and some of his friends, and we spent many hours in line. I had a fun time, and a good last visit to the park as I know it. After Top Gun, we rode Italian Job and then Minebuster again. We rode in a non-wheel seat this time and it was actually kinda fun! Top Gun sure is a photogenic SLC We got queue jumped by some lesbians while in line for Top Gun Ha-ha Womb Raider... I won't be riding you today! or ever again! On the way back over to Top Gun, we stopped and got some Cookiewiches. They reminded me of my boyfriend. Next: Dragon Fire, the inverting coaster starter kit I did manage to get a decent lift hill shot from the exit ramp though. Then, finally, we got to ride Wild Beast, the coaster that refuses to have its picture taken. It was a rough ride, but worth the pain. The Rugrats were there too. I love Spongebob. OMG!! Spongebob! Oh God, it's a parade... wtf... I have never seen a parade in this park before! After riding Shockwave, we decided to go to Wild Beast next, but this cop dude wouldn't let us cross the bridge, so we got stuck in the sea of humanity without a clue what was going on... We skipped the Vekoma Boomerang of Awesomeness, and headed over to ride Tom. ...but it only took him two tries to get the machine to accept his bill this time. ...Paul was thirsty... Then we headed over to Medieval Faire. I got a little nervous because... Splashworks is fun. Although there's not a whole lot to do, the slides that they do have are very fun. This was the first time I'd been to a water park since like middle school The main reason I came to the park today: The water park! This whole section has to be changed after this season. I wonder what they'll do to it. We thought about riding Vortex, but the line was insane, so instead we left the park and had some lunch at the Subway across the street. Timberwolf Falls through the trees. We didn't ride this, but Melissa's friend who I can't remember her name stood on the bridge and got DRENCHED! Ha ha! Here's Timberwolf Falls, located in a... jungle? I predicted I would be the wettest at the end of the ride, and boy was I right! It was the first time I'd ridden a rapids ride in 10 years. No I didn't ride any on the UK trip. So then we went over to White Water Canyon. Uhh... signature shot? We met up with some more people and headed over to the other side of the park. There's SkyRider, which we didn't get to ride Next, Paul's friends wanted to ride "the spinning pendulum thing" They were disassembling it back in May, but with the acquisition by Cedar Fair, they no longer have to worry about trying to fit FOF in that space behind IJ:ST. Yes... Orbiter is open! Tandem seating fans, rejoice! And then... Oh my God, can it be??? Is it open??? We headed over to Minebuster, and rode in the very back row. Oh, the pain! I managed to avoid being stapled too bad though But the queue was spilling onto the midway, so we decided to skip it Yay Vekoma! So Paul's crazy friends wanted to ride Top Gun first, cause they're nuts. Ah, the Canadian flag flowers are back. When I came in May, there were different flowers there and it made me sad. kennywood!007
Cool pictures Nicole! Didn't they even have signs up about the parade??? Thats kinda odd, there were no announcements or signs saying when it was gonna start and stuff.. --Zack
mcjaco
I, for one, am impressed to see both Niiico and Derek, were having fun on both side of the continent on the same day! One might say they were being thrilled coast to coast. Or one may not.....
niiicolaaah
^Being thrilled from coast to coast?? I'm so confused! If you're wondering why I wasn't at the Alvey party, going to California for one day was never an option! The first time I go to California I want to spend more than one day there. jamesdillaman
What did you think, the kids at PKI sure seemed to love it, and it made the action zone kindof clear out as everyone wanted to see the parade, making some lines shorter. It looks like the same parade that we had. Nice pictures, too. -James Dillaman
Carnage
We didn't ride this, but Melissa's friend who I can't remember her name stood on the bridge and got DRENCHED! Ha ha! I don't think her name really matters. I like to refer to her as the "psycho ex-heroin addict 260 pound she beast". I'm going to have nightmares for weeks after she grabbed my ass. "All we want to do is ride Wild Beast". Stupid parade.

Carnage
Oh and Nicole Melissa has no idea how her freind got home. We never saw her after she stomred off at Drop Zone. Melissa was her ride home, but she never showed. Mellisa's parents suggested that she stay elsewhere that night in case the psycho decided to show up at the house at night. What a nutjob. And to stay on topic we didn't end up riding the toilet bowl water slide because some girl was hurt pretty bad on it. This pscycho started yelling at the paramedics that were working on the girl to get the ride going so she could ride it. She really scares me. niiicolaaah
Paul, I really appreciate your sense of humour and honesty. That whole situation was just nuts... I was glad you thought she was crazy too, cause I didn't want to say anything at first. As for YOU ^,
Carnage
lol yeah she wasn't one of my freinds, so say anything you want. She definetly is up there with some of the craziest people I've ever met. And not crazy in a good way. It was funny after she got soaked on the bridge and started complaining about how she didn't realize how wet she was going to get. I mean honestly, did she not see the giant tidal wave that the bridge gets hit by??
niiicolaaah
LOL. OK, for everybody else: she was like asking me all these crazy questions. She asked me when my birthday was, and then was talking about Virgos cause we're both Virgo... She asked me if I like to go clubbing, and if I'm a Christian. She kept talking about how she used to be a size 6. I was starting to get a little nervous, so I made sure to say "Well, my boyfriend blah blah blah" just in case she was a lesbian. niiicolaaah
Oh and Nicole Melissa has no idea how her freind got home. Where does she live? I thought I remembered Melissa saying something about Kitchener.. that would be a long taxi ride!
Carnage
Yeah I assume Kitchener. (generally where I live as well). It's about an hour drive+, so yeah that would be a very pricey cab ride.
DerekRx
No one wants to hear about your boyfriend. We want pictures of you, in a bikini at the waterpark!
