Dropless Feeling...

Recommended Posts

I rode Kraken for the first time in over a year. Over this year, I had ridden more intense coasters (with more airtime) like La Ronde's Goliath, Shiekra at Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa) and Rock n' Rollercoaster at MGM. After riding Kraken, I was dissapointed to find that the feeling of the great drop it had is now gone. I blame Goliath!

It's weird...when I rode Giant Dipper (Santa Cruz) 9 years ago, my stomach tingled like crazy on the first drop. . When I rode it a little over a month ago, I just had the airtime, no tingles. However, when I rode Doubleshot, my stomach tingled like crazy. It's not like I'm riding coasters as frequent as the rest of the members here but it's like my body got used to it...Now, when I rode Roar and Medusa a few weeks ago, I could barely make noise on Medusa's drop as my stomach was practically in my mouth.

This happens to me all the time because last time i went to SFMW(DK). The first ride of the day was Medusa in the back and the drop was nuts and it tingled like crazy! and then after we headed to Kong and i kinda felt it on that. Then Boomerang kinda felt it on that too, then after that, i didnt feel the drop on any rides for the entire day. Not even on Medusa on the back row again.
