Now I know that it would only work for the US version of the store but it would be great for those of us that aren't up on the music scene but enjoy the music in your videos. Plus it could mean a bit more money for the site and for trips. Seems like a win win to me. If there are any issues I guess I don't see them.

http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/ has the details. iTunes is the most popular online music store and it has the best selection so it is kinda a natural choice in that way too.

Well tell me what you think.

Actually looking at the terms there might be some issues but I don't really know enough about the legal stuff.

Yeah, it's probably a better idea to check the list of the songs we use then just go download them on your own!

3.2. A “Qualifying Link” is a link from Affiliate’s site to iTunes using one of the Required URLs or any other URL provided by Apple for use in The LinkShare Network if it is the last link to iTunes that the Customer uses during a Session where a sale of a product or a service to Customer occurs. A “Session” is either (a) a period of 24 hours from the time of a Customer’s initial contact with iTunes via a link from the Affiliate’s site or the Engagement expires or is terminated or (b) if a Customer links to iTunes from more than one affiliate site within a 24-hour period, then the period of time beginning from a Customer’s initial contact with iTunes via a link from the Affiliate’s site and terminating when the Customer either returns to iTunes via a link from a site other than Affiliate’s site or the Engagement expires or is terminated.

In other words, this only works for new customers within 24 hours of getting iTunes.

Not for sale what that says is contact with iTunes from the affiliate link... IE the person must buy the song within 24 hours of being linked to it from the link on the affiliates site. Not that they can't get money from someone that has already got iTunes.

So they just need to actually purchase within 24 hours or before closing link to the store it sounds like. Not too bad IMHO.

BTW I like to own my music memphish
