Joey at Gino's East Pizza

So i was at Gino's East for dinner today, and look what i found on the wall walking up the stairs.

Looks like Joey has some fans

Come on cprock, you can admit it, you wrote that special message on the wall didn't you? The "Joey" in the middle of the photo looks like it's been there a while, whereas the one to the left looks new.

 

But never mind that! The more important question is, how was the Pizza at Gino's?!

 

I can't find a decent (NY style) slice out my way.

It is obvious that the point of this thread is to say that Gino's East freakin' rocks! Best pizza I have ever had.

Only time I'd ever eaten at Gino's is in West Virginia on the way home from WDW.

If it is a franchise of a Chicago pizza chain in a metro area outside of Chicagoland, skip it and go to Pizza Hut. I don't care what chain it is, poeple outside of Chicagoland just don't understand Chicago pizza. The biggest offender in the Mc Chicago pizza world is definately Uno's.

 

P.S. For sausage pizza, Malnati's crushes all contenders.

I watched a show over the weekend on the Travel ch., about the best pizza restaurants around the US, and they showed Gino's East as one of them. I have to say that they had a great looking pizza pie!
