kenshinmac Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 I think you will find the Moonsault Scramble ride is made by Meisho http://rcdb.com/id1292.htm So you can't blame the ride on Vekoma.
goleafsgo Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Meisho is a distibutor for Japan of Vekoma. Vekoma made the ride Meisho sold it. no, vekoma designed it but meisho made it
kenshinmac Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 What style of coaster is that anyway? I am just wondering because it looks like a Extended or something but that won't do a reverse incline.
kennywood!007 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 LMAO! What is up with that girl on the water cannon?!?!?!? ahahaha
phazan Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 lol, that's funny! But a 5 earthquake isn't that big; it would be hard to have that much damage!
goleafsgo Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richter_scale#Richter_magnitudes and supports for a roller coaster probably dont hold up well as a building, so it could easily make them fall down.... although in japan where there are alot of earthquakes, they probably make their coaster supports really good.
goleafsgo Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 nice theming... except on the 1st pic, the rocks look a bit out of place, i think it would look much better if you extended the mountain all the way to the station...
weeow Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Bent girl shall be called Vekoma Fanatic from now on. I like Saw Mill
kenshinmac Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 lol, that's funny! But a 5 earthquake isn't that big; it would be hard to have that much damage! You tell the truth absolutely... A magnitude 5 would only knock down a coaster that was never attached to the ground to start with... It is kinda hard for people that never lived in a quake state to understand how the scale works. Seriously no major damage happens in a magnitude 5 earthquake unless you are starting with seriously slapdash construction.
goleafsgo Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 how do you explain an earthquake with grannies and money?
kenshinmac Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Basically it would often take a 6.5 or higher to get any real damage... Of course there are numerous variables in the damage. The Richter Scale is kinda difficult to understand because it is an exponential scale and if you haven't encountered that in math it is very hard to describe. Just know that every time you go up a full number in the Richter Scale is a HUGE difference in power.
goleafsgo Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 bad expodential scale definition: The difference between 1 and 2 on the scale is 10, but the difference between 1 and 3 is 100, 1 and 4 is 1000 and so on...
Chris Benvenuto Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Said the ones who were going off topic.......!
dragoncoaster1292 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 OH MY GOD! The bent girl scares the s*** out of me! Nice park anyway.
mightypotato Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 bad expodential scale definition: The difference between 1 and 2 on the scale is 10, but the difference between 1 and 3 is 100, 1 and 4 is 1000 and so on... The Richter Scale does not work on an exponential scaling system, it works on a logarithmic scaling system. Matt "Physical Geographer" Bryane P.S....the park looks really nice, I wish I actually had some talent in landscaping in RCT3.
thomas2 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 hello? Guys? A bit off topic here? Let's just say that everyone is a winner!! NOW STOP AOBUT THE SCALES Taiko No Devil Well said. I really like your park. Hope you make an eejanaika clone
thomas2 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Yay an arabic section can only be good That Rocket looks sweeeeet, but the track is on the ground and that's not very realistic. For some reason, I don't like the woody (sorry! ) Don't forget to change the ground so that it looks sandy
weeow Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I think the woodie looks great! I love the supports on the Intamin Rocket!
