Well I'm going there on the 19th with my school and i have already paid so there is no way of getting out but do you think we will get a free ticket because stelth is closed?

No you won't receive a 'free ticket' just because Stealth is closed. It was not the parks fault remember.

You won't as a school group, but if you were going seperately you could complain that as they are showing Stealth adverts on TV even more than before now, while it's actually unavailable, and seeing that advert and coming to ride Stealth was your main reason for visiting, Guest Services would probably sort you out with exit passes, or free tickets if you were really lucky.

I had mixed feelings about Thorpe. Nemesis Inferno was great (not as great as Alton's but still lots of fun), and Stealth grew on me after riding in the front seat. I even found the bizarreness of X to be rather endearing and liked the Logger's Leap (rapids ride was lame, though). The themeing of the Amity section was pretty cool. Colossus was good, but would've been better with one or two fewer twists (definitely a case of piling on there).

 

That being said, if it hadn't been for the ERT, I would've left around 3:00 pm.

 

I hadn't heard about your falling asleep in the bar, Elissa, but I imagine you (and Robb) were pretty wrung out that day. Well, if anyone had a good nap coming it was you.

That's why I love Dave. He stayed there to protect me. God knows what would have happened if I was left alone!!!

 

No way was I leaving you unprotected. God only knows what might have happened to you, considering some of the people roaming around. The only person that grabbed you was Robb, and I didn't stop him since I figured that he was allowed to do that occasionally...

Hey i was there when Nemesis Inferno broke down on the 6th, I rode it twice in the morning and when i came back in the afternoon they had closed the ride and said it would re-open later but it never did! (lucky for me i had gotten the credit that morning!).

 

Later on they closed X:/No Way Out and Tidal Wave to. And Stealth was closed the entire day to, but thats not so unusual... (Man, I had a bad day!) Luckely they never closed Colossus so the day wasn't a total loss!

Nemesis Inferno was up and running today, a week early! Rode it twice and it was very very smooth, not showing any signs of failure. Good show!
