So I'm doing photo TR, and it's kinda a pain to upload each pic individually. Does anyone know a way to batch upload all the pics at once?

Umm, yea... What I was looking for was a way to upload those 30 pics all at once, instead of browsing for one, clicking the upload button, scrolling down again, repeating...

Something more along the lines of - browse for all pics for the post, click upload, voila!

^ No way to do that, sorry. If you're on high speed, it really shouldn't take that long. When I do a Photo TR I generally do about 30 pictures and it takes me about 10 minutes tops.

And remember, by uploading them to TPR, we might end up linking to your photos or Photo TR on the park index pages, so uploading certainly helps contribute to the site.

^ What?! It takes about five minutes for each picture alone on this computer.

I wonder if I have some filter on or something...

^ Woah, that is weird. Uploading should be fairly instantaneous. If your pictures are under 150k it should take no more than like 5 seconds per photo. A lot of times I do the captions in MS Word so I basically upload the photo, cut and paste the caption. That's the very quick and easy way to do it.

For example this photo, at 105kb took 4 seconds to upload.

^ Yeah, it seems to happen with all of my uploads (not just on this site.) And sometimes videos (that are within the size limit) just fail while loading and go to a 'Page Cannot be Displayed' page.

This Nutter Butter (68 KB) took 3 minutes to upload, and I have broadband.

Long upload times can be pretty common, even in Broadband situations. Connections like DSL, while they can boast downloads of 1.5 Mbps or faster, are sometimes as slow as 128kps when it comes to uploading.

^^^That should be the new management team for Magic Mtn..lol

I had a question regarding "size" of pics. If we use a digital camera and upload the pics from our file(s), do the pictures re-size automatically or do you have to upload them from a site similar to photobucket, etc...?

I finally was able to recover my pics from my BGE trip and wanted to share the pics on the site, but never posted pics before (on a forum site). I noticed on some picture posts the size of the pics are large and others are small-sized.
