SharkTums Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 I've been hearing lots of new stuff about the CP Coaster, while Robb and I travel a lot, we will not be in the mid-west this season or the off season. If anyone out there frequents the park a lot, or lives nearby, we're looking for an Official TPR Update person! Think about how we did the Tatsu updates for an example of what we're looking for:(http://www.themeparkreview.com/sfmmnew06/current.htm) You'll get some cool perks from us and have your photos viewed by hundreds of thousands of people. This is relatively serious, so only people who can commit to going quite a few times now, and through the off season need apply. Just email Elissa at emeridithw2@aol.com for more info. On a side note, if you don't live near CP, but maybe near another major project for 2007 please email us as well! Thanks everyone, we look forward to growing the site more with your continued help and support. --Elissa and Robb
TheStig Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Ive got a ton of pictures from about a month ago, would you be interested in seeing those? Ill send them to you if you'd like, but if not that quite alright. Just offering. Colin C
SharkTums Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 That's cool Colin, send them over for a start!
dandaman Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Curse my 3-hour drive. And my lack of digital camera. And my... well, at least I've got a season pass, right? Love to be the TPR Updater of Officialness, but seeing as how I can't even drive yet, it might be difficult. Maybe I could take the Pelee Island Ferry from Leamington every Saturday?
jamesdillaman Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I have a question, as the project isn't really visible too well from the bay, would the person be granted entry during the off-season to take pictures? Do you work that out with the park, or do they just have to get as close as they can in a boat? I do not have access to a boat... -James Dillaman
Reality15 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Yeah, I would be willing to do it, but I face the same problem ^ does, how are we supposed to get into the park during the offseason? Trust me, I'm VERY willing to do updates, I'm the webmaster of a Cedar Point site and we already do photo updates of the Project 2007 construction, so this could easily be a joint venture between TPR and my site. Let me know if you have any more information Robb/Elissa.
robbalvey Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 At the moment, assume we are looking for photos of whatever people can get during the park's season (remember CP is open through October) and what you can take from outside the park. Any "construction tours", while we get them granted quite often throughout the year, are usually more short notice, and never a guarantee. If it happens, GREAT! It's a bonus, but please don't expect it. I hope that helps. --Robb
arrowfanman Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Robb and Elissa will also be doing background checks and will be testing all applicants "Attention to Detail". Good luck, and may God be with your eyes. -Jahan
jamesdillaman Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Well, I just got engaged to the beautiful Julia, so my plans have changed such in that I don't think I can drive up to Sandusky that often. Sorry. -James Dillaman
Beate's Freak Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 I live next to Fiesta Texas, so if they do get a flyer or dive machine I could get some photos.
