ECZenith Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 As for a midway, look for something along those lines to pop up right down the center of the park (in the overview between Tempest and the new Deadwood Inn) Flat rides and water rides will be added next as well as a whole bunch of intricate buildings. "Deadwood Inn" is officially done. I themed the building to a three story hotel, and the cars load through the basement before climbing up to the higher floors. Here's some screens to show you the ride experience. The Screamworx pack is great, allows you to make some in-depth dark rides. Looks like the hotel owners happened to have a torture chamber in the basement. A poltergeist leaps from the fireplace! View from the loading platform, guilotine scene. Looks nice at night! I added the banner, complete with "vacancy" sign.
Worm Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Love that last line! Plus, i'm digging that sceamworx! Where can i get it?
Worm Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Love that last line! Plus, i'm digging that sceamworx! Where can i get it? or do you need wild!?
NitroRider Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 ^^Here:http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=517979 This park is looking great, but you definetely need to add a midway type thing.
kennywood!007 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I like your haunted house ride. Looks like our parks are competing! Cause the kinda are similar. Anyways great work! Your haunted ride deffinately took mine out! Keep it up. -Zack-
ECZenith Posted July 8, 2006 Author Posted July 8, 2006 The people have spoken... Over the last couple days I have added a midway (which still is not done yet!) and I began the path up to the mining town at the top of the mountain. (not seen in this update) Carousel, Snack Bar, and Ripsaw. Ripsaw The carousel gardens. The brick building is the gift shop, the building to the right of it is the snack bar. In the background is the 2-story arcade. An overview of the midway. New rides include Ripsaw (giant frisbee) Bumper Cars, Airscape (aileron), and a Carousel. Buildings include a video arcade, gift shop, and laser tag arena, as well as a snack bar.
ECZenith Posted July 8, 2006 Author Posted July 8, 2006 Yeah, I know like 50 other parks have that name... but it was originally going to go in the lumber camp section near "The Vision" but just didn't look right. I just like that name. At least it has original colors, hehe.
kennywood!007 Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 I like the mid-way! I was getting scared before when you didn't have one But good work keep it up! About the graphic card you posted on my Land of Thrillz thread. What computers does it work with?
ECZenith Posted July 8, 2006 Author Posted July 8, 2006 I have an HP Pavillion a1007w and it works excellent. I would imagine it would work in most modern PC's. Definately get one, you don't know what you're missing! And thanks for the nice words on my little project.
goleafsgo Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 i can help you out if you need a new graphics card, (im a bit of a nerd). do you know the specs of your pc?
ECZenith Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 7-12-06 Update I have added a skyride to take peeps up to the top of Arcadia Peak, there is also a new path running parallel with the skyride that leads to the top. The top of the mountain will have a mining town complete with a heavily themed wooden terrain coaster as well as flat rides and a water ride. This is the other side of the tunnel that leads to the Native American themed area (home of "The Vision") This area will be worked on next and will have a themed log flume. More trees and detailing were added to the Deadwood Inn area. "Gyro" swings high above the midway. The completed midway and Tempest area. Arcadia Peak Skyride
thomas2 Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Very cool and good park. Sorry if this is already asked but are you using any expansion packs?
Tusenfryd Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 ^^Here:http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=517979 Where shall you place the files?
ECZenith Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 In your RCt3 folder theres a folder called Style, and then inside there is Themed. You place them there. This park will require... Steelworx M31 Hangar Screamworx Timber Frames Leftovers Wild Soaked
Tusenfryd Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Shall you place the Common And Unique file there too?
ECZenith Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 I'm pretty sure... I suually just unzip the whole thing right into that folder, those files included. All of the theming packs I mentioned before have worked for me by this method.
Twister II Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I HIGHLY suggest downloading Main Street Packs 1, 2, and 3. At first it would be hard to use, just watch a video of it and you'll understand the whole thing! http://sebar.com/shyguy/ <--Download link. Expo 3000 and Circus Center are also very good to have.
Tusenfryd Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I placed the files in the style folder, but they aren't useable, i cant find them while i play
goleafsgo Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 you have to put them in the "themed" folder, which s in the style folder.
LOVE SFKK Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 This was the coolest RCT3 park ive ever seen. Please Finish it
