BiCoastal Kid Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 This was a track I made for a recent challenge over at CoasterSims.com. The challenge was to make a fun family coaster of any style, without heavy banking, and no faster than 35 mph. You also had to cross over a few markers within the boundary, which is what all the extra supports are. For some reason, my computer doesn't have the ability to run the sim, so I basically built this entirely in the editor. Anyway, I thought I would share it now that the challenge period is over. hahaha, oh man, in-editor train perspective. Heck yeses. Sassy Scooters.nltrack Yes, that's right, I named it Sassy Scooters.
Worm Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 WEEE!!! Try to add some colors, dude. For advice, your coaster is nice and smooth with lots of nice transitions!
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 Did i seriously forget to add colors????
rcoasters Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Yes, you forgot to add colors ! However, the coaster is good for a family coaster. Lots of turns and helixes
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 26, 2006 Author Posted June 26, 2006 Yeah, sorry about that again. I cant use the sim I didnt really notice it. hahaha
benzo41190 Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 When I forst got No Limits I also could not use the editor. Then I got a good computer and I could then play it! Great coaster...im sure it was hard to make smooth without looking at the forces in the simulator.
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 Well, I mean, I've gotten pretty good at guessing whether the readouts will be realistic or not.
weeow Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 It reminded me so much of how real superbike racers switch their leaning directions on sharp turns. Nice job!
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 Sweet, thanks! That's what I was going for.
weeow Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Well you achieved it! I'd like to see more of your coasters. Did you use elementary on those helixes and turns?
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 Yeah, this was actually my first completely math-done coaster. I'm playing around with others right now, but my progress is highly limited.
weeow Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 I find it impossible to make a coaster completely from elementary. Anyway, great coaster!
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 where does No Limits save the Screen shots to? I cant find mine.
BiCoastal Kid Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 ^I believe there's a screenshot folder in the NoLimits main folder.
