  1. Sadly I think I already closed my 2009 season more then 1 month ago during my florida trip. My last coaster was Expedition Everest @ Animal Kingdom. But maybe I'm lucky and can go to the Hamburg Winter Dom fair and ride the famous Olympia Looping. This large fair in Hamburg (Germany) starts next week.
  2. I don't know where you found that mistake. In the flyer you can find the following prices: Total Cost: Middle America - $1995 Per Person IntimidaTour - $1275 Per Person • $250 (Middle America) and/or $200 (IntimidaTour) Initial Deposit – To secure a spot on either tour, your initial deposit is due NOW! • $750 2nd Payment – Due by March 19, 2010 • $995 (Middle America) or $325 (IntimidaTour) Final Payment – Due by May 21, 2010 I think $200 + $750 + $325 still is $1275, so there is nothing wrong
  3. That's a bit difficult if you only have 2 days for themeparks. Disneyland Anaheim is not the same themepark as Disneyland Paris. But if you have visited Disneyland Paris before you don't miss anything when skipping Disneyland Anaheim. Then my choice is to visit SFMM and Universal Studios. SFMM has the better rollercoasters compared to KBF. Universal Studios is a better option then KBF, just because of the tramtour, Simpsons, The Mummy, Jurrasic Park etc. And by the way how many shopping days does your wife have during that trip?
  4. That's looking freaking great already, but the track still have go like 100feet op in the air before it reaches the top.
  5. My deposit for the IntimadaTour is on it's way to you, Elissa. I used paypal, but was not able to do it the way you want. I was not able to select the eCheck option, only my bankaccount. But I think it will be oke. Please let me know if it's not ok Eddy (Netherlands)
  6. Yes it looks like the flying circus. But I don't think it will be the one from Barth.
  7. For all you Harry Potter fans I have an exclusive Hogwarts Flyover video. Here you can see the size of the building behind the castle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAVIBPqWQHU
  8. Florida Sunshine (Part 1): Flight to Miami, Boomers and some sightseeing. My 3 week holiday in Florida started in Amsterdam with a flight to JKF Airport in New York. This was a flight without any trouble, some great movies and food that was oke. But the trouble came after checking in for my flight to Miami. First there was no pilot, he has to come from Detroit. This resulted in a 2 hour delay. After the pilot arrived and we boarded the plane, the pilot heard some strange noise. He was no sure if it was a harmless noise so a mechanic had to check the noise. That resulted in an extra 1 hour delay. So after a 3 hour delay I arrived in Miami, not around 10:30pm friday night 1:30am saturday morning. After the usual stuff like baggage claim etc I picked up my rental car and drove to my hotel at North Beach, Miami. It was like 3am when I went to bed, but I could not sleep very well. So after waking up at 7am, taking a shower and having breakfast, I took a morning walk around the beach. But I was not in Miami to stay at the beach for the whole day. I Had plans to visit Boomers and do some sightseeing around Miami. So my visit to Boomers and The Sightseeing will be online tomorrow.
  9. A member from the Eftelist website made this model of Joris en de Draak with NoLimits. If you take a look at the released layout this model could look like the real thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds0T2zzr1ow For more information about this model and the real GCI rollercoaster, just visit: http://www.eftelist.nl/mail/6044
  10. In 2010 I want to do the IntimidaTour. But because I will be flighing to Washington DC from Amsterdam, I will spend some time in DC before going to Richmond. I really want to visit the National Mall area, to visit the White House and The Capitol. But I also want to see all the monuments (Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial etc) and I want to visit the National Air & Space Museum and National Museum of Natural History. I don't need to visit the rest of the city. So how much time do you think I will need for this visit?? And talking about the National Air & Space Museum, which one is the most interesting museum: The one located at the National Mall or the one located at Dulles Airport. I am think about visiting both locations, but do I really need that? And do you think that I really need 1 day for a visit to Six Flags America. I want to visit the park during the day and in the afternoon/evening I want to drive to the hotel in Richmond.
  11. My best and worst coasters in California?? Because I have not done that much rollercoasters in California, my list can be a bit strange for you guys. Best: * Tatsu * Riddler's Revenge * Batman The Ride * Giant Dipper (San Diego) Worst: * Grizzly * Vortex My last visit was in 2006 and X was closed back then, so I still have to do X2, Terminator, Ghostrider, Pony Express, etc and all the coasters @ SFDK
  12. That flatride in the video really is a KMG XXL Afterburner.
  13. I don't think the actual g-forces are that high, but you expierience the g-forces for a much longer time then in a rollercoaster. And talking about the cost of this ride along: At Daytona International Speedway a Ride Along costs $135 And the prizes for Drive Along (Drive a nascar yourself) start at $525 for Daytona. But if you want to do this at a different track just check: www.1800bepetty.com/
  14. You can't compare this to riding a rollercoaster. Yes, Both have high g-forces, but the g-forces you feel in the Nascar racecar are there for a much longer time. During the laps you are pushed to the outside off the car.
  15. I think many of the Nascar fans really want to ride a Nascar racecar themselfs. Richard Petty made that possible for them, with his Driving Experience. I am also a Nascar fan and during my holiday in Florida last september I made a Ride Along at the famous Daytona International Speedway. As a passenger you sit next to a race driver and make 3 laps along the famous racetrack with it's 31 degrees banked corners at speeds of 200mph (320km/h) Here is the video of my Ride Along: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLjUzo2PBh4 This is only a tiny bit of everything I want to post here about my great 3 week holiday in Florida. This weekend I try to start with the first part of my report.
  16. No, the XXL is a larger version of the KMG Afterburner.
  17. You are wrong: Power Tower II is NOT a Zierer drop tower, but a Maurer drop tower. And I am waiting for your other pictures from Olympia Looping, Spinning Racer etc
  18. Right now I can't check the prizes for flights in august 2010 and also the prizes for rentalcars in the same month. But if that 'one way penalty' will cost me less then a flight from DC to Richmond then i will go for returning the car in Richmond. When do you think the prizes could be online for august 2010.
  19. Robb, I have some questions about getting to Richmond before the start of the Intimidator trip. I don't think there are direct flights from Amsterdam to Richmond. So I think the most easiest way is to fly to Washington DC. But how do i get to Richmond from DC?? I'm thinking about doing Six Flags America before the trip starts. So I need some wheels. Do you know if there are rentalcar companies in DC who also have an office in Richmond? And after the trip ends in Richmond, I really want to visit Six Flags Over Georgia. Can you help me with the flight to Atlanta?
  20. No Flying Circus is in Vidam Park, which is a small park located in Boedapest, Hungaria.
  21. Yes, sometimes it can be a little difficult with all those different timezones.
  22. That's the mainpoint for me to go on my very first TPR trip. And speaking about those 2010 trips. Do all trips still have the GO, or are some allready a NO GO because of less interrest?
  23. 6pm PST (west coast time) or 9pm EST (east coast time) would be 3am GMT+1 over here, So I can't enter the chat. But it's ok for me if all the questions asked during the chat will be posted in a topic including the answers, then it's ok for me.
  24. Toverland Attractiepark Slagharen Boomers Dania Beach Busch Gardens Africa Seaworld Orlando Fun Spot USA Old Town Kissimmee Universal Studios Florida Universal's Islands Of Adventure WDW - Magic Kingdom WDW - Epcot WDW - Disney's Hollywood Studios WDW - Animal Kingdom
  25. If you can't wait for Robb's answer, just take a look at www.rcdb.com and count the coasters yourself.
