Guitar Hero World tour Vs. Rock Band 2
thrillgeek replied to kalvin's topic in Random, Random, Random
I have rock band 2 and it totally rocks. To me the GH series is just too cartoony and unreal. Plus there are no drum fills in the GH series so you can't add your own drum solos during the songs. The RB drums work on GH though so if you have RB drums and still want GH you don't need to get the drums. -

Theme Park Review's 2009 Trips Announced!

Wow I never would have expected my little money comment would start a 3 page discussion! I was talking more about the amount of time for the trips anyway. I mean my work (Target) will only really let me get about a week off of work. I would do both the DS and the Texas trip if it wasn't a problem with work -

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (TR Video)
thrillgeek replied to mejaybe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Very nice video! Your lucky the on-ride video on Tony Hawk wasn't working otherwise you might have been kicked out of the park for bringing yours onto the ride. As far as the one train operation goes....literally every time I've gone this year they've only been running one train on Roar. It's sad around this time of year when the lines get incredibly long at times. Glad you had fun non the less! -
I would be listening to a Hollywood Undead song but I lost my I-Pod nano I needed a new one anyway.

Those night shots are really creepy and make me even more mad that I couldn't make it to Haunt yet. I'm crossing my fingers for next Saturday. Even if it's raining I'm still going. Thanks again for the awesome pics and review!! -

Would I be able to put in my initial deposit for both the Deep South and Texas Trip but before the deadline decide to only do one or the other? -

Theme Park Review's 2009 Trips Announced!

Yes this helped me 100%. Thanks alot! As someone that has to carry way too much medication with him at all times, and travels to various parts of the world every year, I can help you with this question. You should have no problem at the airport. If you use any liquid medication, you'll have to have it in a separate plastic bag for screening, but other than that it's no big deal. It is a good idea for you to have a letter from your doctor stating that you have to take these things with you, just in case you get a really annoying security person (I've never had to use mine, but it's still a good idea to carry one). I've never been questioned about any of my medical supplies, and this includes many visits to foreign countries. So this is nothing to worry about. At the parks, I either carry stuff I need in zippered cargo pockets on my shorts, or in a small bag (usually a TPR bag). Different parks have different policies about bags and other items, and these should be discussed on the trip forums long before you head out for the trip, so you'll know what you can carry around with you, or what you might have to store in a locker. But again, this is no big deal, just requires a little pre-planning. Hope this helps. Any other questions about this, ask away... dt -

Theme Park Review's 2009 Trips Announced!

I have one question Robb/Elissa. It's probably not a big deal but I haven't been on an airplane for a long time. I have diabetes and I'll have to bring alot of supplies with me even if I'm only doing the 5 day trip. This shouldn't be a problem in the airport or at the parks right? I just want to clear everything up now. Thanks in advance! -
Me and a friend got lost driving to CGA so we ended up driving about 5 hours for about 300 miles when it should have taken us an hour and a half! We ended up coming back home because it was too late to go Hopefully now that we know how to get there next weekend will work out better.
