  1. Was just my thoughts based on what I saw and knew at the time. Ill be happy to eat my words when the place closes.
  2. My daytrader senses are tingling on this one. The statement from CF makes me think that they are at least heavily considering the offer. Interesting to see SEAS make a move like this.
  3. I consider RMCs (unless its ground up) to be a renovation.
  4. Im getting a sick feeling that if that does happen, that it goes to SFoG and takes over the employee parking lot. Park hasn't had a new ORGINAL coaster since DDD and that's over a decade old. I know it would mean two hypers, but management loves how the skyline looks from I-20, and RoS would add on to that
  5. As much as Rich can screw up a rumor, we have to remember that he has been right a lot also. I think we should wait before throwing stones.
  6. If a park puts it back together with a Vekoma train and has Vekoma come in and reprogram like Silverwood did, I don't think they are stupid. It could be a great investment at the right park.
  7. looks too clean for it, my personal guess is either Lake Winnie or Frontier City
  8. Well look whats on the move https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1831215323750372&set=gm.3090037164575386 Lots of rumors on where it could be going.
  9. 100% he should apply. I can testify that it is the best job I have ever worked. Upper management is the best it has been in years, and they will listen to everyone. Its a lot of fun.
  10. I worked (just finished my final day) at the center. Trust me, us guides and staff pitch stuff all the time. The issue is the state is slow to listen and even slower to give us money. I mentioned the Skyline kiddie coaster and that seemed to get attention, but that never went anywhere. Maybe one day that will happen, but I am not optimistic. Nice to see another Huntsville guy on the board.
  11. I am fully on the train of this being on purpose. That freak is such a loser. Edit: https://www.meadvilletribune.com/news/fire-heavily-damages-conneaut-lake-parks-blue-streak-demolition-permit-to-be-issued-wednesday/article_ba3a2bf6-6dba-11ec-af2f-d79c8c461eec.html You have to be joking if you think this was an accident.
  12. Because the Bay Area is one of the few areas of the US that truly act like Euros when it comes to complaining about parks
  13. When I went in Nov of 2020, the place was insanely busy, and that was near peak covid. Only ride lines that were not out the door was Shellraiser and Sandy's. I laugh anytime I see people say the mall is going to die.
  14. Well, looks like the Giga might be legit. Lets see if this gets the axe like CGA's hyper or it really happens.
  15. Well, its confirmed Wild Lighting from Lake Winnie, but also, more rides will be announced over the months. Flats I assume. https://fb.watch/a6OLZzdSpb/ Looks like they even use the TPR POV of the ride in the video lol
  16. Alabama Adventure, SFOG, and Fun Spot America 100% Thinking about a Vegas spring break trip, so maybe Circus Circus and Togo's greatest coaster Lake Winnie probably also before going to a Lookouts game Otherwise, not sure. I want to hit Lost Island and Adventureland, but they are in the middle of nowhere Iowa.
  17. Correct, was a very good opening day might I add to that
  18. Yeah my hopes and dreams are pinned on 2023 at this point, and it better be damn good. We have been due the inverting steel coaster since 2019.
  19. Agree, this feels like a nothing addition. A GG family woodie would have been a better choice for both the short and long term.
  20. Well, f me. Looks like the new coaster is Lake Winnie's old Wild Mouse (best Wild Mouse out there imo) Excited for the coaster to stay local, but man, this feels wrong. Photos from r/rollercoasters
  21. Millennium Force 2 : Holiday Theming Boogaloo. Edit: LOL the Intamin theory might not be crazy
  22. Not sold on it being a wild mouse. That was a timberliner under the tarp in the Halloween video. I think its theming.
  23. wow, see that comment gives me a lot of optimism I had lost over the past decade under the Koch regime. After how Adol- I mean Dan treated the dry park like a redhead step child, I wonder if this means water park expansion is done for now.
  24. Well, we have our next teaser Official announcement on Christmas day, but confirmed not a water slide. (whew) Also, the gift is not to size, was worried about that for a second. My guess is a Gravity Group shuttle with a barrel roll.
