  1. I hope you understand that I never left the line at any point. I just bought a drink from a stall situated in the line. I didn't go out of the line, buy a drink and then try to come back in. - Jason -
  2. I personaly don't like it what so ever as you normally find weird annoying people doing them. If it was Robb or Elisa, I don't think it would annoy me as they know they're stuff and also, they're a familliar face. Other than that, no, I hate it!
  3. I think that maybe not the very worst case but definitely the most outrageous case of queue jumping I have experienced is one incident at Thorpe Park Fright Nights. The park was at full capacity and many rides were shut so queueing turned into queueing to queue. 3 hours for Nemesis Inferno and many other rides. Anyway, enough rambling. My dad, friends and I were queueing for as it happens, Nemesis Inferno when we noticed a whole group of about 10 foreign people all pushing infront in the line behind us. We were going to say something to a member of staff outside of the queue walking by when someone else did. The man kindly asked them to exit the queue and go from the start. They declined and started shouting at him. Before long, two police officers noticed the row and came over to assist the staff memeber. The man raised his voice and said 'you will be evicted from the park if you do not exit the queue now.' The group then insisted that he was racist. This obviously was not the case. The staff member then stated 'This is not a racist park and nor am I so if I hear you using that as an excuse or a way of getting out of this situation again, I will remove you from the park, so leave the queue now.' The group did eventually go and didn't start queueing from the start and instead went off somewhere else. I myself am not racist but, I do think that it has to be said that the racist card is used a lot for bad intentions and usually in cases where racism is obviously not a problem. I think it is ridiculous. Another example was not neccesaraly queue jumping, but bad judgement on the part of another queuer involving myself. I was in the queue for Rita at Alton Towers again with my dad and friend. If anyone has been on Rita, they will know there is a food kiosk type place in the middle of the queue on busy days. It was a busy day and I needed a drink. My dad bought an ice cream and gave me the money for a coke. They went off ahead and carried on in the queue so people wouldn't go infront of them and no one would accuse them of holding up the queue. Once I had bought my drink and had to move ahead of people in the queue to get back to my dad. Bearing in mind that the kiosk is physical in the queue and I was in the queue also. I didn't think this was queue jumping and it obviously isn't. Anyway, on the way back to my original spot, I was stopped by another queuer and he said 'Excuse me, do you know the definition of queue jumping?' I politely said yes and pointed at the signs that explain what queue jumping is. I also explained the stroy but he wasn't having any of it. He started to have a go at me but I knew I was not in the wrong to I went on with him stunned. I don't think that haveing a kiosk in the queue is right as events such as this one will happen. Does anyone else agree with me that I was not queue jumping or am I actually the one doing the bad? Enough from me... -Jason-
  4. Je ne palle pas fracais! (I can't get accents) Looks good so far. I like the supports! Your s-turns and twists look really well shaped!
  5. Me and my dad have come up with a crazy yet possible sounding concept. It comes from the idea of the hovering magnetic monorail. The trains are on a track hovering by magnets. To keep safety aspects and have the ability to have airtime and inversions, you would have guid wheels which when the train starts to raise off the track, would prevent this. The magnets would also cause less or no friction and you could speed the train up when it slows down. With this, you can create longer rides. This isn't the only advange. The hovering on magnets idea makes for a butter smooth ride as it would be floating in air. Even after ten years, it will be as smooth as the day it is built! Just an idea though.
  6. This is ther first photo contest I have entered and I can't use photoshop but, here is my entry. Eyesore: The Ride
  7. Oh dear lordy! Not the dragons! They were awsome! I just really hope they replace it with something uber-spectacular for the new entrance. Is there any concept art out there for the new entrance or plans. Anything with a glimmer of hope for better things? Anyhow, I am actually welcoming this new Harry Potter theme. I think that if done well, it would really work and would look great. Fingers crossed!
  8. Oh my god! It's a giga-coaster!? Am I right? The logo is great and so is the rest of the park. I cannot wait to see the layout and the confirmation of the coaster!
  9. I've heard someone ask the opperator for a ride say 'When's the rain gunna' stop?' I chuckled to myself thinking how stupid! Also, I remember walking up to Nemesis at Alton Towers, a girl said, 'OMG! The bottom of the train on that roller coaster fell off. Look, you can see they're feet!' - I slapped myself on the head. (Not literally)
  10. I really love the look of that but the colour scheme is something I'm not too fond of. Hopefully, it will grow on me. The last picture looks like an Intamin/Vekoma hybrid with the same colour supports!
  11. OH, the next inversion is a Dive-Loop. It is the very last element other than the break run. Have a look at this site and things should become a lot clearer about the layout. It basically tells and shows you the layout! Happy looking! http://projectdylan.co.uk/page/layout
  12. I double that! This is actually looking pretty spectacular. The teasers really confused me and now, I have no idea what the coaster type is! Anywho, looking good Europa Park!
  13. Basically, they took out 1 inversion and replaced it with an airtime hill making the inversion count go from 4 to 3. Simple as. About the age restriction, I highly doubt it will happen. I really want to go on it and if an age restriction was put into place then I would be forever disappointed, along with many, many others. I think they would probably just put a recommended age for riding which you choose to follow or not as the case may be. This is the case for fight night mazes at Thorpe so a strict age cut off point is out of the question in my mind. So far, the ride is looking great and I am really looking foward to future updates and the station!
  14. I hate spammers. I know, I'm a hypocrite considering my title but seriously. The super-spammers get on my nerves. You know, the ones who just post sex, sex, sex and expect to get away with it. There seems to be more of them then ever and they are just p***ing me off at the moment. Stupid one posting, no gooding, dumb a$$ super spamming spammers.
  15. I don't think it is that bad but I never knew they had a problem in the first place. Anyway, Colossus has been open and had those nets up for weeks. It didn't only just open today! Back to the topic, I think they are o.k. but still, you won't get any good views of the ride and they are kind of ugly. Actually, the more I think about it, the more I hate them!
  16. I have got to go with Air! Hands down! No, in all seriousness, I have got to go with Oblivion. The best ever use of a tunnel EVER! Vertical (nearly) drop into a mist hidden tunnel. Fantastic, scary and thrilling. The noise and whoosh when the train as it enters the tunnel is simply stunning!
  17. I thought that the Beijing Olympics were fantastic and London have a lot to follow. I am pretty undecided wether I liked the London bit or not. It was a bit too blah for me. Did anyone else who watched it like it or hate it? (preferably somone not British but it's still ok! )
  18. For many years, RCT3 fans alike have said it would be impossible for custom rides to be designed in RCT3. Thats was pretty much right, until a few weeks ago. Belgabor found out all the codes, nooks and crannies to make custom flat rides and behold, a new era RCT3 was born! There are now endless possibilities and no need for expansion packs! Well done Belgabor. Now, here is the list of all the flats at the moment. If there are anymore that should be added, go ahead and post it here and hopefully, I will post it up on the first post! Here is the list: Doughnuts madhouse Belgabor's Jumpin' Jack Belgaor's Cube Sitting Ride Jonnyears and Imagineer John's Pirate Ship Imagineer John's Heave Ho Rocking Tug Imagineer John's Hopper and Spring Rides August, 2008: Belgabor and Spice's Space Mission September, 2008: MfG Fechu's Playground If there are anymore, just say

  20. I was scared on a waterslide at Kings Dominion. I don't know which one it is and it isn't on the website but it is fairly near the enterance to the waterpark. Anyway, I was about 8 and the slide was pretty tall. I got to the top and I didn't realise how tall it really was. I went down the slide and water went up my nose and I paniced and i got really scared. I was 8 so, give me a break!
  21. I don't think there are anymore spots but I would love to do it! If there aren't any, which I don't think there are, I don't mind but still, count me in if there are spaces.
  22. No one could have expected it. No one could have predicted it. No one knew what was about to happen. Thusrday Evening: 6:17pm - The Falitix X plant in Exeter A routine check up of the computers was the only thing left for Thomas to do and was the easiest thing of they day. After finishing his cup of smooth coffee, he stridded over to his work station to have the final check before he left work for his family. He noticed that one of the main cores was switched off. This was strange, he and no one else had turned it off. But, putting this thought aside, he simply turned it back on again. Then it hit him. Alarm bells went off inside his head. The sirens and lights should have turned on if the core was off! Thomas decided to check all activity of the reactors throughout the day. He found something strange: the core was turned off during everyones lunch break. After thinking to himself for a few moments, Thomas decided to finally drive home. After all, the core was back on and working fine. He grabbed his belongings and headed for the door. Suddenly, the doors shut. Right in front of him. He walked over to the switch to open the door but it would not open. It was locked. Thomas threw his weight against the doors and they still wouldn't budge. What was happening? -------------------------------------------------------------- Falitix X: The Final Stand Falitix X 3.WMV
  23. Yes, because you can't go behind a dog or any other animal without it spontaniously whipping it's head round. Is Merlin Entertainments owned by a wizzard?
  24. It comes from a poof of pink smoke. Why don't adults enjoy what kids do?
  25. I'm taking German! That's the only thing you get to choose at my age at my school. (What language you want to take) Also, I am starting on the 2nd September.
