  1. 28 Days Later - 9/10 It was pretty awesome. I really want to see the sequel, though. I'm going to see Invasion of the Body Snatchers and maybe A Tale of Two Sisters soon.
  2. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - 10/10 Just utterly FASCINATING. The music, story, effects, and jokes were all amazing! What happens at the end was pretty unexpected. Alan Rickman's singing skills were better than I thought when he sang with Johnny Depp. Everyone at school is all "BLEH, it's a musical, it's gay...!" but it's SO good. It really deserved that Best Picture award. This is now my current favorite movie.
  3. I completely agree. I ranted about that on another forum and everyone was all "FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!!!!1!" and being 'smart' like "Well, I COULDN'T care less about this rant."
  4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning 8/10 It was very, very interesting and brutal. I liked it, though it seems to have less scary parts than other horror movies.
  5. Saturday night I plan to see Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!
  6. Shutter- 7/10 I saw this on its opening day at a 9:50 showing. It had a "mini-twist" and I wasn't really bored. There were a bunch of parts that scared me, including two or more "fake-outs". Lots of people, I've heard, like the Thai original better. Maybe I could see that one day. I never saw a horror movie in a theater. Near the end, some guy in the theater screamed out of nowhere, making me jump. ***SPOILER*** There was this part where everyone in the theater screamed because the lights turned off in the room, and the flash went crazy, so you, at first, could only see what's happening every few seconds. My sister was all "She's gonna' come up in the next one!" The flashes get faster and the girl was appearing everywhere and grabbing that man...So creepy.
  7. ^^^I think I'm like the guy in school that doesn't mind people who just happen to have a different sexual orientation. People don't look at others thinking "straight" - unfortunately, it's not the other way - only because it's the more common status. "Majority rules"? Screw the majority. In my opinion, I don't like the word "straight" when it comes to sexual orientation. When I hear people say "Are you straight?" or something similar, I always think "Straight from what? As if homosexuality is a disease or something"? I asked a few friends what they feel about sexual orientation, and one said "They should let gay people do what they want, whatever. I'm not going to do anything when they go to hell." W. T. F. Who do you think is more likely to go to hell: The people who hate (...) or the people who love? And besides, not everyone believes in hell.
  8. I dislike how in Gym, people would rather humiliate people by picking them last than realize it's just a game. It's not even a school vs. another school game.
  9. ^That happens to me a lot when I play certain games too long at one time. My topic today: Stupid people. I'm sick, like many people, of this. My mother had an accident with her foot and around last September, I had to push her around in a wheelchair. No, I'm not saying I hated that like I'm a brat, but my pet peeve was a bunch of people not paying attention to a heavy wheelchair with only a mere child (me) pushing it around. People were crossing paths in front of ours less than two feet in front of us. One time, a random guy stopped in front of the wheelchair holding a hankerchief in the air when he didn't notice the wheelchair going at a speed (not fast, but a little more than slow). Since I'm in 7th grade, I have a weird year. For Health/Gym, 7th graders get one class for a semester, than the other the next. I had Health the first semester, and now I have Gym. The locker room is pretty screwed up. This isn't because of the room itself, but dumb guys in there. When I was changing in a stall one time, this random dude BANGED into the door, scaring the hell out of me. Last year, in 6th grade, I had Gym the entire year (Health's only in 7th), and THANK GOODNESS they don't allow people spraying excess things in the air now. Last year, so many people were spraying Axe/Tag/WHATEVER into the air constantly for a minute. Um, stinging people's noses doesn't attract girls. My school's social society (OMGZ alliteration) almost seems to frown upon rock, indie, and basically everything but the most popular songs on the campus, which they repeat all the time (for my "pleasure" -_-). I don't like homophobia. That's all I'll say about the "That's SO gay!" crap. Bullies are dumb, especially when they don't see how much of a jerk they look when they pick on 6th graders, especially if they don't know something about the school. I have many 6th grade friends because I feel like I'm the only nice guy in the school. When I was reading all of the posts of this thread gradually (like around 20 pages a day) there was a post that shows how jerkish they are. The post was stating that a friend committed suicide from bullies. Popularity is crap to me. I'm one of the strange-but-nice people that they have at every other school. It's like the bad guys always win. The people who treat others like crud move up the popularity chain in my school. Some insults in the school are so ridiculous that I wouldn't be surprised if they backfire on them. Like that "you have no cock" insult mentioned by Yankee cannonball. Erm, have you been looking there or something? Another topic (last one) I have is that it annoys me when you tell someone about a movie/something you turn out to REALLY like, and they either don't listen or they ask what it is and still don't listen. When I hung up Dead Silence and Saw pictures, almost everyone was all "Whoa, what's that?!" And they say I barely keep up with stuff. Well, I probably strained your eyes. I should stop.
  10. Dead Silence: 9.5/10 I watched both the R-rated and unrated version yesterday. I don't see exactly hundreds of differences between the two versions, but the unrated version showcases a few extra shots and a special detail with Mary Shaw. I loved the movie. I think the reason why some people rate it low is because most of them came in expecting another SAW movie, since it's from the same writers and director(s) of SAW. I don't like horror movies that much. The Sixth Sense scared the wits out of me when I was about 10 because it was a perfect fit in my fears. Dead Silence was one of the "tamer" R-rated movies I saw. The killings weren't really shown. It showed Mary Shaw killed off-screen, and the murders by Mary Shaw showed before and after, basically. There were some parts that were funny ("If you say 'I told you so,' I'll shoot you") and some parts that were both scary and creepy. The hotel part gave me the willies. The part in the car with Billy running around and with the mirror in Mary Shaw's room both got my heart pumping for a few seconds and made me gasp of surprise. Mary Shaw's character was very mysterious and awesome. Her ghostly smile added to the "creepy factor". The movie itself was almost like an artistic masterpiece. The guys who made this really knew what they were doing. When Jamie, the main character, was sleeping in the hotel room, the room was lit up every two seconds with a neon red. That color really added to what happened in there. During a funeral, everyone was moving a little slow and the main color was blue. I really admired some parts of this great movie. When Detective Lipton and Jamie were suddenly running from the ghost of Mary Shaw, it showed Mary gliding down the hallway. When she got closer to the camera, it looked like it was a classic horror movie. Another part was in one of her murders. Before her victim died, she slowly smiled as he screamed, and her face came hurtling toward the camera, which is an effect I like a lot. The reason why it is not a 10 out of 10 is because while Jamie suggested the dummy was the main role in a murder at the beginning, he propped it up in his car, his hotel room, etc, but hey: it's usually the protagonist's ignorance of something that makes the horror. The twist at the end was fantastic. Sorry for the review being pretty long. I was excited about this movie. Juno: 9/10 I saw Juno yesterday, also (I guess yesterday was sort of a movie day). There were many good jokes and it made me feel good. I really liked some of the songs that played during the movie (I got to get some songs from iTunes from the soundtrack...). The actors were stupendous. Ellen Page and Michael Cera were perfect with showing necessary emotions. Jennifer Garner's performance near the end of the movie (not to mention the entire movie) really got to me.
  11. To prevent the "nutcracker" from attacking me on the Phoenix in BGA, I put my hands on my lap when the bottom restraints come down (it will still touch the lap, but not squeeze to death), and lean forward just a little for a notch of room from the upper restraints.
  12. -2 Hours. What's the best thing before sliced bread?
  13. Doesn't Bee Movie have smoking in it? It's rated PG.
  14. Gwazi Lion in the back. I was being an idiot on a visit to BGA, when I decided to go in the back one time, hoping for airtime. On the drop, I barely had/didn't have airtime at all. I was brutally, BRUTALLY shaken for the rest of the ride. I felt like being punished. :/
  15. - What board do you read first? I go to "Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys" first. - How often do you visit? Every day, once a week, NEVER! I visit every day, though some days I don't get to go online. - How many pages through each board do you read? (meaning do you read just the first page of topics or multiple pages?) I usually read the first page only, but if it is very interesting, then I read the topic. - Are there certain types of posts you read more than others? Things that are interesting yet very random, Photo TRs (especially if they are about the parks in Florida), and articles posted about Florida parks. - Do you do anything else besides reading the forum (chat room, profile, searching, main site photos, etc) Sometimes I like to go through the 2004 Japan Update every once in a while. - Tell us anything else you want about your TPR visits! I think that this is a very awesome and professional site.
  16. The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm, Magic Kingdom, WDW.
  17. I recently rode it and even with the lights off, I could see that track above me, and it was really close.
  18. Wow, and they made it sound actually bad by calling it an "accident". Nothing even crashed.
  19. Lately, RCT3 was lagging a lot, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall. There is this message that pops up saying random computer things and it doesn't even load anymore. I'm pissed.
  20. Stanley River Falls - BGA Journey to Atlantis - Seaworld, Orlando Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - Disney-MGM Studios Expedition Everest - Disney's Animal Kingdom The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror - Disney-MGM Studios SheiKra - BGA Journey to Atlantis (a second one) - Seaworld, Orlando Kraken - Seaworld, Orlando I usually put mine on the shelves or on the top of my drawer in my room.
  21. Okay, I had a really bad morning. There are so many ants in my kitchen all the time, and some even find a way into the cereal boxes, apparently. I got Honey Nut Cheerios for breakfast and I didn't see anything on them before and after I put on the milk. I took a few bites while watching TV when I noticed black specks in the cereal. Ants' dead bodies. Eww! Being me in the morning, I get mad/confused that I just ate some bugs. I had to wash out my bowl, choose something else (I suck at choosing things in the morning), and then make the other breakfast, which were Grits with maple syrup, and all before my I leave with my sister for school. Agh. Oh well. I heard ants are protein. I'm totally going to eat bagels now.
  22. Revenge of the Mummy is my favorite non-inversion coaster because it was the longest time I've been out of my seat...at least for me (I haven't been on a hyper-coaster yet...evil Florida). The back is awesome there. Hulk...I barely remember if there was airtime. If there was, it most likely wasn't awesome like ROTM, or else I would've remembered it.
  23. ^It's basically the same situation in my house.
  24. Does the new bride have that appearing and disappearing ax like in DLR? Great photos.
  25. WHY do I have to do a science project two times a school year!?! Since we've made MANY science projects in the past, CHANCES ARE that we know the scientific method by now, retards! Agh, that felt better. Back to my 358345927437th science fair project.
