In terms of sheer park substance, it's Tokyo DisneySea. Disagree, and you're wrong. The sheer achievement that that place is and continues to be is indescribable. Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the Valencia Mall ghetto fair by comparison. LO-Q has to be awarded for most brilliant industry accessory. Every day they make thousands of dollars selling absolutely nothing but sheer, intangible convenience.

Don't buy park hoppers. Disneyland's gates can and will be shut to any incoming guests as early as shortly after noon, regardless of if they've already been inside Disneyland that day or not. If you want to be in Disneyland at midnight, just go in, stay in, use FastPass & Single Rider, and have fun.

When I tell my fellow SoCal'ers that I don't own a jacket, I'm looked at like I've got four heads. When I travel around to other parts of the country and say that I don't own a jacket, the most common response is, "Well yeah, you live in Southern California." True story.

You know, after 15 years of seeing the silver tower, the new red/blue scheme looks so completely natural...like it's always looked like that. I had a similar feeling with X2. Hopefully the new Superman will be just as successful as the X2 transformation was.

It would be beyond awesome for SFMM to install an In-N-Out somewhere in the park in the wake of this, but I can think of about 5,298 reasons why that can't or won't happen.

The worst part about losing TCBY is that the healthier frozen yogurt is replaced by unhealthy soft serve ice cream.

This makes me really glad that Virgin America added an LAX - DFW route!

Am I nuts, or does that look a lot like the concept art for what's currently happening to DCA's Paradise Pier & Buena Vista Street? The themes and decor appear strikingly similar, which is great because so far Paradise Pier is looking really nice. A mega shopping district in that same motif would be a very pleasant place to visit.

Season Passes to SFMM has been in the $60 range for a few years now. Not sure how keeping them there is giving away the gate any more or less than has been previously done. Offering 4 free Hurricane Harbor Season Passes with the purchase of 4 Magic Mountain passes merely adds a new potential value to the plans of groups, families, or anyone else who already would buy 4 Magic Mountain Season Passes, or would group a purchase of four together since this offer now exists. It's the kind of offer that's perfect for the holiday season when families like to buy en mass for their own family and others. If nothing else, the offer should boost the sales of season passes to both parks, which should in turn increase traffic to both parks - a good thing for SFMM.

As far as I know, that building remains completely unsold to this day. It's part of the reason none of the smaller access roads to/from it have been finished yet.

Funny part about that is Knott's would bulldoze much of its family stuff to build giant coasters and go after SFMM's niche if it could.

The carpool on the 210 only lasts to Pasadena until it becomes the 134, with 210 thru traffic having to exit on the far, far right. Recommended route from Anaheim North 5 to North 710, exit on left. North 710 to West 10, exit on left fork. West 10 to North 5, exit n right. North 5 to Magic Mountain Parkway, exit on right. This route should be fine on a Sunday except from 11am-5pm. Travel time is 55-80mins. Doomsday Route should I-5 be a disaster North 5 to West 91, exit on right. West 91 to North 605, exit on right. North 605 to West 105, exit on right. West 105 to North 710, exit on right. North 710 to West 10, exit on left fork. West 10 to North 5, exit on right. North 5 to Magic Mountain Parkway, exit on right. Travel time is 70-100mins.

Perhaps I'm being unrealistic here, but in terms of sheer value, asking for Orlando Ticket Prices while deliberately holding back attractions such as a Kuka arm for "future expansions" comes off as a deliberate screw job, if that's what's indeed going on. Unfortunately most FL residents are unaware of what's at other Legolands and won't be able to make that comparison.

Early mornings have been cool, cloudy, and occasionally drizzly, but that all gives way to a really nice, comfortable day. Then at night, a little fog starts settling in making for some pretty cool Fright Fest weather.

What if SFMM went back to XTREME PARK without making the mistakes of the past? What if the park went XTREME PARK while maintaining the turnaround and committment to cleanliness and upkeep that has been seen in the past few years? This is absolutely a step in the right direction, and another step towards this park finally realizing its true potential.
