  1. North East Tour 2011 Yes, I just recently returned home from the amazing TPR: North East Tour 2011. The first official park of the tour was Quassy. I was able to visit the park back in 2008 and I have to say they have made quite a few improvements to the park this year. The park was a lot cleaner and the staff was very friendly, Yes, they have also added a brand new awesome ride this year, The Wooden Warrior. The Wooden Warrior is easily the best junior wooden coaster I have ridden so far. While not very tall, it still has a lot of speed and airtime throughout the entire ride. Wooden Warrior was easily the most surprising ride of the entire trip, it really was that good. Ok....onto some pictures. Good morning Quassy! This is why we are here today. The rules of the ride. So, that is who came up with the name. Are you guys ready for your ride? Up the lift they go. There is a lot of airtime throughout the ride. It is also fast. Even shirts can not resist the airtime on this machine. We see you Elissa. Behind the scenes of a POV. We see you Robb and TJ. It looks like Roxanne is ready to go. Hello again Robb. Tunnels are always great to have on coasters. Yes, there is another coaster in the park. Chris adds another one to his count. Well, actually a lot of people added another one to their count. Little Dipper....Hooray! It is really that fast. Looks like I am in the right place. Each one of us received a block of wood with lunch. Roxanne with her beer and balloons. TPR train takeover! There used to be a Mad Mouse right about here. This is what is coming for next season. Drop Tower! The slide is still here. You can see the entire tunnel in this shot. Proof of airtime: Check out that hair. Which one is our bus again?
  2. It is always a treat to read a Larry Photo: TR. Hopefully that will score me some more Yodels next time I see you. BTW: The name of the bubble cat is Doraemon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_l-r7_f0CVs
  3. Good to see that the worst B&M coaster is now going to the worst Six Flags park. At least I will not have to go back to SFA anytime soon for a new credit.
  4. Steel Coaster: Kingda Ka Wood: Son of Beast
  5. Well at least the top player on the Women's soccer team is a former Gator.
  6. I rode it yesterday and it seemed pretty much exactly the same as it was when I rode it opening weekend.
  7. Awesome! It looks like KICK BOODIE lives again!
  8. ^ Brooze and certain special drinks cost extra. None of the shows cost extra. You tip your wait staff at the end of the cruise. Mini Golf and movies are all included.
  9. Ok, one final post to finish this all up! I thought the island was pretty good, but I honestly prefer being on the boat. Plus there is mini golf to play! There are 9 holes total. Yes, larger than Disneyland's. There is a large movie theater which shows first run movies. Also in 3-D! We found these back in the room! Yum! The final show features Genie from Aladdin. Mickey showed up as well. Wave good-bye! I am not sure why that this is the only photo I have of our final dinner. The final towel animal. Special pillow. Aww....the next morning. Freedom of the Seas...I bet that ship is awesome. Wave goodbye! The End!
  10. I guess I should get back and finish off this report. Sorry for being so late. I went back to the room to find some pirate stuff. Oh, I get it! But first, let us take in a show. Villians Tonight! Just think of a show based off of the more obscure Disney movies in the last 15 years. Yes, it even includes the roller coaster scene from Emperor's New Grove. Yes, a bunch of villians. Time for the pirate party! The Aqua Duck has a special light package at night, but the only time you get a chance to ride it is after the pirate party. Getting dark now! Pirate versions of all your favorite Disney characters. It is easy to learn the words to this song. Dinner time in a new location. This is what one of the tables looks like. Mickey fountain. Menu. The next morning! I see you exclusive Disney island. Let's get off the big boat. There is a lot of theming across the island. In true Disney fashion, there are trams that take you all over the island. Noted! This would be the cheat sheet. Go back a page and translate the flags. The map of Castaway Cay. This is what is on the back of the ship. This is more of a long shot. Where are we again? Bye ship....see you later! Another rodent photo. In case if you wanted to know. More theming. All the Coke products you can drink. All the ice cream you can eat. You have to swim out to the water play area. No worries, there is a bar here. Yes, you can snorkle here. Let us hop on the tram. Yes, that is a landing strip. This would be the beach only for adults. Want to join me on a bike ride to explore the island? This is one of the cabanas you can rent for the day. We still see you! Looks like the end of this trail. The adult beach from the other side. Kind of nice that there is a water cooler here. Bike POV! Wave to the tram! Let us head down another trail. Yes Renee, there is a 5K run early in the morning. More random stuff. Ooooh! I like observation towers. This is what it looks like from up high. Boat and cell tower. Hee hee! That is the road back home. It is good to follow directions. I have never seen these guys before. Photo op! I have to admit, I was really bummed that they removed the Black Pearl from the lagoon. One final photo of the ship. Ok, that is all of the island.
  11. Wow, that new area really looks nice!
  12. Just to let you know, Manhattan Express really is that bad.
  13. It is sad that I never noticed the Coyote hanging over NATG's first drop in that he is probably my favorite cartoon character.
  14. Yes, you are the only one who misses the original Sea Cabs. Thanks for posting this. Brings back memories.
  15. How am I going to get my pepper popcorn wrapped tortillas anymore?
  16. I liked the ride quite a bit as well. It proves that a coaster does not have to be super intense to still be a lot of fun.
  17. I got to go ride it this morning and I found it to be really fun. Extreme family coaster is the proper classification for it as it is not super intense, but it totally delivers a really good ride. If you plan on going to ride it this summer make sure you get to the park before opening as it take very little time to fill up that 2 hour wait queue building. Good morning! Lots of people already here before the park opens. Ohhhh! New entrance! Like I said, make sure you get there early! This area fills up with people very fast. The old monorail building has been updated. Cheetah Hunt is really a fun coaster! Rules of the ride. A kitty made of wood. There is now a big cat inside the old monorail station. In case if you wanted to know. Must be opening weekend. Heading out to launch. They load two trains at once, this would be for the back train. Another kitty. Made of buttons. You can get up pretty close to the 2nd launch. Up the tower it goes! This really is the Cheetah Chase part of the ride. The drop off the tower is pretty fun. You can get some pretty cool shots from the Skyway. Mine do not have many trains though. Airtime hill! The famed, "Under the Skyway" shot. A few more random shots. To 60mph! And I leave you with some kitty cats!
  18. While it looks pretty good it is missing a critical scene from the movie. Wow, pretty lame.
  19. Yard work and washed cars.
  20. You can post pictures as long as they are your own. We just like you to post at least 50 times before you post a link to another site.
