  1. Nice TR, i went to the Efteling today and rode it twice, great ride! Just like said before, the dark ride part is what makes the ride so great (amazing effects!), the coaster itself is IMO not bad, not good, but average. Sadly, the ride broak down twice today, with people stuck on the brakes and in the water for a while, and the ride being closed, but on both occasions the staff got the ride up and running again within the hour. But this does make me wonder wether or not KumbaK makes reliable coasters, it certainly isn't good advertising.
  2. Cool! Thanks alot for posting the link. Just like the one in Terra Mitica, i'm very interrested in this coaster!
  3. I was actually quite exited about this project, until i heard about the bad restraints on the X-cars, i hope it isn't to bad or that these X-cars are better than the ones on G-force. But i'm still looking forward to this coaster, the lay-out looks very unique (Maurer Sohne really did a good job fitting the coaster in the small area!), and who knows maybe it'll still be a good ride!
  4. WE need amusement parks to survive!!! Lol!
  5. Congratulations guys! I wish you guys and Kristen lots of joy and happy times to come!
  6. This one will be exactly the same as the one in Finland, so also with a chain lift. The new additions look good and I look forward to seeing how the new additions will be themed, and i look forward to riding them someday! Thanks to the Spanish members for keeping us up-to-date on this and others Spanish projects!
  7. Souds good for the park, i hope they'll get more visitors now (maybe the extra money can be spent on new thrill rides), i only hope that removing Via Volta won't scare away the dutch youngsters. thanks for the news!
  8. Nice colors, nice lay-out and nice theme, i'm satisfied. Okay, its a bit of a shame that it's a clone, but it's still a good coaster.
  9. Nice trip report, Plopsa Indoor looks beautiful! I'm thinking of going there this week (it's the only Belgian park I haven't visited yet), is there anything interesting except for the kiddie credit? Anyways, thanks for the pics!
  10. Thanks for the pics! I cant wait to ride my first GCI this summer, and this one looks pretty good!
  11. Central Holland, close to Zwolle, both are 1 hour east of Walibi World, Hellendoorn is not far south from Slagharen (30min. drive). For a detailed map, just type in "Hellendoorn" or "Slagharen" in a route-finder site like this one: ViaMichelin.
  12. Nice! Sounds like fun, especially with Bon-Bon Land's unique theming skills (can't wait to see the theme !!!). RCDB sais its a Gerstlauer Spinning, i've never been on one but i hear they're not so bad (thow not as good as Maurer Sohne's).
  13. ^ Explenation: lots of nerd making lots of calculations lol. Seriously now, i think its just calculating where what has to be to be albe to fit, wich is still kind of amazing becouse one miscalculation could screw up the entire project.
  14. IMO the coaster looks great! The speed, the turns, the wingwalker trains, the part over the lake,... The arguments for the coaster being lame are good ones, but i think the speed and the other special features will make up for the lack of a top hat. Anyways, nothing's sure yet, let's hope the reviews turn out good!
  15. The ride looks great! I love the colours, and the lay-out looks like fun! I can't wait to ride it's twin brother in Duinrell (The Netherlands) this summer.
  16. I rode it last summer for the first time, and i must say i liked it, okay its a VERY odd ride with odd theming, but i just had fun riding it! The backwards turns and the darkness are a bit disorienting, and the ride has some fun G's here and there, i came out laughing and thinking "WTF?", but i had fun!
  17. ^ Thanks alot for the movie! Its nice to hear DVH is finally working (Intamin saves the day!), and it looks great! Looking forward to riding it this summer!
  18. Thanks for posting the pics/links!, Nice to see construction is underway, the colours look really nice and original! I wonder if there's going to be a difference with Rita? I still haven't seen any official annauncement saying it'll be an exact clone. Anyways, i can't wait to see it finished and when the theming is up.
  19. Thanks for the nice TR! Tivoli Gardens looks nice (especially Deamonen!), and so does Danmark. I hope i'll get to Scandinavia some day, the parks there look great!
  20. I think this coaster's going to be great! The turnarounds, hills and lay-out look fun and the coulours and theme are very unique. Yes, its not a high hyper, but who cares? Size doesn't matter, this coaster might even be better than some other B&M hypers!
  21. The turnaround looks nice! And it does look a bit like the Silver Star turnaround, indeed. I really like the sort of crammed out & back layout with the tracks running under/over each other and now the sharp turn, its like 1 straight line over the park! Anyways, this is a really intersesting coaster IMO.
  22. Thanks for the new pics, this is one interesting coaster! The coulours, theme and design look pretty unique. Especially the part where you slam into a wall!
  23. ^ You're thinking of another Siam Park, called "Siam Park City", wich is in Thailand and is already operating, the one from this thread is in Spain. Here's the RCDB park link: www.rcdb.com/pd861.htm.
  24. Thats unfortunate, Coney Island/Astroland is like THE classic american amusement park of classic american amusement parks. But luckily the signature ride, Cyclone, will stay in operation, wich is kind of a big relief.
  25. Great video once again! Hilarious! It has alot of TPR craziness, i think even more than most other videos. Thanks for posting it!
