Im thinking if it is in hiding, its somewhere close to the plant. If it was being shipped to the park, people would report seeing track pieces or containers going to the park. -

I dont remember if this has been talked about yet, so if it has, sorry. But my friend said something that doesnt seem far fetched. Now i know someone said the track may not be made yet, but that doesnt seem right, by now theyd have had to started, especially with all the projects B&M has going on, but what if HW has B&M storing the track or hiding it knowing that people go snooping at the plant. -

^definitely no iron boss for 2015. If it were to happen SF would have already told people to get their last rides in on the original version like they did with magic mountain and new england. But I did some digging and it sounds like something new might be coming next year, but dont get too excited...... -

The suspense is driving me crazy!!! Im sticking to my guns that its gonna be a launched of the non invert or flyer type... at least that what Im sooooooo hoping for!!! -

Gotchya. Ok, I can see the curve a little. But that leaves me with a conundrum. That leaves the red track with Carowinds, and why would they make their giga the same color as their mega? IDK, Im still thinking somethings not adding up. As convinced as I was that HW was getting a B&M launch of a non invert non flyer, Im starting wonder. Obviously the footers at HW are for a B&M, but their placement looks not to be for a flyer or invert. But obviously Carowinds isnt getting the teal, leaving them with the red and they already have a large red coaster. Im thinking the red is for HW, teal is for an unknown project, and Carowinds hasnt been seen yet..... at least this is what Im hoping. -

I know how the invert ties are curved, i guess im just going blind and cant see it on the teal. And have we figured out why or how HW may not be getting the yellow? -

I thought Ive been keeping up with this thread pretty well, so tell me why the Teal track at the plant HAS TO BE or IS for an invert or flyer. Why can't it be for another style? There's only what, maybe 7-10 pieces to judge from? If this is big as they say its gonna be, there's about 75-100 pieces we havent seen yet, so.... -

Theres absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is the first B&M launch. What else would have dual supports that close for that length in a perfectly straight line.... i mean i guess it could be the break run, but that doesnt seem likely there. -

Not a word. Nothing in the park is showing any hints either..... no survey markers, paint marks or anything. Usually by now , some workers have a clue of whats coming, and I know these workers, and they havent said a word yet. It may be one of those years of nothing. Even though thats hard to believe because usually corporate tries to give every park at least something small. Maybe theyre skipping a year to save money for something bigger. I believe in the past 10 years the park has received something except in 2010, but I cant remember for sure on that. If SFSTL isnt getting anything, then hopefully its a major "facelift" year like we were all talking about earlier, but who knows. -

My guess is good as anyone else's, but how do we know they wont use PP's station for the coaster station. They may not have started construction there yet just to throw everyone off. This things gonna be huge, if it is a launch, whos to say it wont be a multi launch and the area we already think is the launch is actually the second. Im still thinking the PP house will still be part of it. -

I'll bring up one instance of this ,and a quite large one at that, back in 2006 when SFoG received Goliath. Goliath was originally planned for SFSTL (it would have been a tad taller and a tad longer). Anyway, last minute, corporate decided to change the plans and give the ride to SFoG instead. Goliath for SFoG was surveyed and designed in a last minute decision. Thats a pretty large project to do last minute. -

I know HW has been wanting and has been planning a nice steel coaster for a few years now, but I was thinking it wouldnt happen for a few more years. But with the developments with KK the past 2 years and it now up and running, very well too, Im pretty sure HW thought they needed to do it right away and not lose too much attendance to KK and really do so by adding something big and exciting. -

Why are many people assuming this...? Holiday World is 1.) building their very first steel so I doubt it's going to be the BEST steel coaster ever like some are expecting - You build yourselves up to that overtime. 2.) probably the most family friendly large park (besides Magic Kingdom/DisneyLand) I've been to, so I think this is going to be a ride the whole family can enjoy. Sure, it will be thrilling, but I'd bet anything this isn't going to be no Intimidator 305 insane intense ride (or even equivalent to the old-school B&M punch). Who's assuming what? No one is saying it will be the best, but it could definitely be top 5 material. Also, why wouldnt they say go all out, whats wrong with that? This is all matter of opinion... no reason to get all fussy -

Another thing I think people forget too is, a coaster company is somewhat limited to what they can do. They have to go by what the BUYER wants, not the GP. They can only implement so much of what they are capable with the area at hand and the buyers wishes. I think with the way B&M does things, they are slightly held back by this. But in this case, I believe HW has said to B&M, that is as long as this is a B&M, do what you want and go all out.
