  1. You can still get Season Parking for free if you buy during one of their sales: This is heavily cropped, the full version is here: Passes and Memberships Also Season Parking is free right now for anyone that wants a Season Pass of 4/29/2021: Prices valid only at Six Flags Saint Louis
  2. @jackinbox Just make sure you buy and activate your membership at your home park, lets say you go to SFGAm and had still not activated your membership at SFStL you will most likely be denied entry to SGAm. And then according to their FAQ's : "A very limited number of Membership benefits (such as free tickets for friends) are only valid at your home park. Discounts on food, merchandise, tickets, tours, etc are valid at all parks." Also Six Flags, for years now, have prioritized memberships over season passes as the "ultimate way to enjoy Six Flags". Straight from their FAQ page: Their reason you should still buy a season pass:
  3. Ah yes you are correct, but this is Six Flags after all! How much are they willing to put into theming thier front sign? The plaza is one thing, but to do it again on a bigger scale is another On another note, if they did, how will they differentiate themselves from McDs
  4. I wonder if they will carry the arch theme to the new front sign, something in the vein of the new plaza logo.
  5. Or better question, will they reuse the supports or will they build a whole new structure with a LED marquee?? Orrr, better yet...let's get crazy and speculate that they will rename the park back to Over Mid-America for it's 50th anniversary
  6. My thoughts are since they haven't built anything big since 2008 (boomerang doesn't count), and also are not really a destination park, all the new improvements in infrastructure could be to support crowds when they do decide to build lets say a roller coaster. But even not I do enjoy seeing all the love given to our local park
  7. @Danrarbc @bossstl @castaway_kid The beans are spilled, and looks like we were correct, and I can't wait to see it completed: CREDIT: Sean McCormac This is great to see, I'm glad the park is finally getting the needed improvements! Now speculation time, I wonder with all the front end improvements that are happening, that SFStL is getting ready to announce something big for the park for the 2023 or 2024 season
  8. Cedar Point No Longer Requiring Face Masks -Face maks no longer required on rides, though it is still recommended -Temperature checks for guests have been discontinued. -Health-screen questionnaires will be conducted at entrance gates, not through the Cedar Point mobile app. Also Cedar Point said face coverings would still be required while guests are indoors, unless actively eating or drinking. “In addition to continued guidance from health professionals, none of our rides are long enough to meet the criteria that’s been established by the CDC as consistent exposure,” -Tony Clark
  9. Very true, it would be nice to see the pumpkin or even the clock again. Who knows, there is not much else there could be, I guess we will have to wait until after Friday, unless someone spills the beans before hand
  10. A led sign would be interesting since they still have to update the sign manually. But I hope its a whole new sign built around the matrix rather something tacky and stuck on. On the terms of Colossus, it was in the processes of a repaint, maybe a new color? And I thought they have fixed the lights on Colossus recently to not warant a new light package.
  11. The only thing I can think of recently is the clearing of trees by the road. So if it's something new, or general infrastructure improvement, I'll say a new front sign or they actually repaved the parking lot But castaway_kid did say big changes so...
  12. I don't think anyone lives close enough My drive is just under two hours I personally keep forgetting Grant's Farm exists, I've tried once myself to visit but they ended up being closed for a event and I never tried going back myself. If you hit up Grants Farm, also stop by at the Museum of Transportation, it costs, but it is well worth it for a visit for the family They even have a mini train that kids can ride, and Trolleys that run on certain days.
  13. I know someone already mentioned SFStL, and I know SF and thier history of working togther after New Texas has been null, but why not? If they built a record breaking euro-fighter (like Smiler) or a custom launched family coaster like they did with FireChaser, and put it where Tidal Wave sat and possibly build out over the service road and into the hillside. That would give Six Flags StL a long needed record breaker and a boost in attendance.
  14. Another update from Friday I forgot to mention is that Batman has a new logo made up in the new shortened queue line. I don't remember it being there last time, and I wonder if this a return to some sort of theming in the queue. Curious to see what the area looks like when its complete:
  15. The ride operators at Mine Train had to work hard to keep everyone in check, as there is no blocking of the unused rows and the mask policy seems to be of no concern to the GP. I swear, besides Pandemonium, Mine Train had the most yelling at the GP's to put thier masks on. Speaking of Pandemonium, the ride ops were giving out mask strikes to the GP's that kept refusing to pull thier masks up. One group got 2 strikes and the ripe op was getting ready to call security before they finally decided to listen to the operator.
  16. Quick trip report from 4/23/16: Not much changed from last Friday, crowds were light and the weather stayed decent. It was an awesome night to spend riding roller coasters as every ride was a walk on with a lot of coasters allowing instant rerides if a spot was open. Quick changes, they opened Xclaibur and Shazam for people to ride, Spinsanity was down a few times. Mr. Freeze never opened and The Boss was running a sandbag train so operations at Boss was slower than usual. No Kids area rides were opened this time, and River King Mine Train was only operating every other row unlike the rest of the park filling every spot. Oh and it seems like they adding more LED color lights around the park. ALSO the park extended the Power Nights into May! The new nights are: -April 30th -May 7th (American Thunder and Justice League will be closed for a private event the 7th!) -May 14th -May 21st -May 28th
  17. I feel to young to be in this conversation, I was born in 94, and didn't get my first ride on eagle with my dad till I was 12. My home parks was Kiddeland in Melrose Park and Santa Claus Village in East Dundee Gosh I wish Six Flags would copy Cedar Fair, as those members cups are awful, I hate having to lug that thing around. Better yet, copy Holiday World and give us free drinks
  18. Does anyone have photos or videos of the double up before it was removed?
  19. I didn't realize Eagle was modified, why was it removed?
  20. Never rode one, but it would look quite unique at SFStL
  21. Agreed, they really need to light the whole park if they are going to let people in those areas. I don't like the fact people are hiding in corners in the dark areas, and also unexpected curb's may pop up. I wish the park had more "traditional" flats, like for example a tilt a whirl or a octopus ride, the park is really lacking in those areas besides a good kid coaster. I miss the bumper cars, Rush Street Flyer, and the smaller swings. (and also a proper antique cars) It seems now the park is only focused towards the thrill seeking teenagers, and not really towards family's who enjoy a more traditional setting. That's why I see family's in my area more usually heading towards Holiday World cause they can cater to the whole audience. Screamin Eagle was hauling Friday night, it was a blast even in the rain, definitely my favorite coaster in the park. I like the out in the woods setting, pacing, and I love when Eagle screeches its wheels before the drop on the first hill. I wouldn't mind seeing a S&S Free Spin in the park, but Six Flags hasn't built one since 2017. Sky Rocket I do not see the park getting since the last one Six Flags built was in 2012 at Discovery Kingdom. But now a Raptor would be an awesome addition to the Tidal Wave spot, and maybe we can get a bigger version like Jersey Devil as SFGAdv. I also wouldn't mind seeing the park get a SkyWarp installed next to Boss, I really don't see them adding a coaster there, but I could be wrong.
  22. @prozach626 : -The Tommy G Railroad is still closed for refurbishment, and I ain't sure if it will be open by next month. -The Carousel is also down for refurbishment and someone mentioned it won't be open at all this season. But she can possibly ride: -Colossus -Log Flume, no height requirement -Little Train -The Joker, pirate ship, no height requirement -Most of the kids section has no height requirement, besides Taz Twisters which is 36". But the only other rides you can ride together would be the tugboat ride, weather balloons, and the Zamperla Crazy Bus.

  24. I honestly wonder that myself, I hope that those solid dividers are not going to be used the rest of the season.
