  1. Sorry if this is a bit random, but, I have been trying to fing the song they play at those horse race fairground games where you roll the balls into holes and it moves your horse along. Have had a look on tinternet but not got anywhere. They are the same as the Arabian Derby ones but with horses. I think the song goes " were racing on the Cantebury Downs" or something like that. Any help would be greatfully recieved. This is driving me mad.
  2. Sorry if this has been posted before, but this place looks amazing http://www.jlasso.com/disgraceland/index.html

  5. Oh Wow. I have already booked a return trip in April next year to go and ride these. thanks for the pic.
  6. Just read this news over on RRC. I know Kevin posted on here a bit and was considering coming over to Dubai. 7. The global village is closed at the moment. Last season was the last time it would be a tempory afair. So they are re building it with permanant attractions. Not been up there for a while so not sure of the progress, but when I do go I will take my camera.
  8. Oh Guys this is killing me. I am so jealous. I will be in that part of the world this time next month and so wish I could be there for the media day. I have to say I am really pleased with Camelot getting a decent coaster. The park hold very fond memories for me even though I only visited once as a child. My first ever coaster was there, in a green mountain, and they had a bizarre, very camp, dragon animatronic at the door. Enjoy you lucky people.
  9. Sorry to be English but, what is the deal with people saying they cant drive stick? Is that not a bit rude?
  10. ^^ Woo Hoo, Credit for me in the summer.
  11. Dont forgrt the Towel Heads as well. ooh ooh ooh, and the ACErs Love this thread
  12. How cool, My dad lives near Scarborough and sent me an email to tell me they had set a fair up there, he wasnt sure if they had any credits or not. Do they? I willl be visiting in Aug so I will check it out if there are any coaster.
  13. ^^ Is this the fair at the old North Pool?
  14. I dont really want to fan this flame war. I just wanted to point out how much better this post has been handled on TPR than it was on RRC. I think we should be thankful to Robb and Elissa for running and moderating such a well round group of respectful people. Well Done.
  15. Thanks for your reply. that has reminded me I still have a few more photos of dreamworld to post. This was my second trip to Thailand and I just love the place. The people are so genuinely friendly and I particularly love the food. We went on a Thai cooking course and it was just fantastic. I can now cook all the Thai delights I love. Although we do have some fantastic Thai restaurants here in Dubai, so I am a little spoilt.
  16. ^^ So I gues there are lots of Gaylords in America? There are certainly plenty on this board.
  17. ^ Bugger, you beat me to it. that song is my phone ringtone.
  18. Most of the Cosplayer in Japan are uncool kids from the outskirts of town. They all get together at the weekend to dress up as their favourite characters. They all travel in their normal clothes and get changed again before returning home. You will see most of them have suitcases with them that they carry their normal clothes in. Most parents do not know their kids are involved in cosplay.
  19. An of course there are these from Harajuku Crossing on a Sunday.
  20. Ahh you mean like these? These were all taken at Tosimaen.
  21. ^ Thats great to see how much progress they have made since I was there. Next time I visit Thailand, and I MUST visit again soon, I will definatly go and check the new rides out.
  22. As Promised, here is some theming and the Haunted Mansion. There are still more pics to come. Stay tuned. As you walk out these full size heads drop on you. Here's some pics from the Haunted Mansion. BUMS!!! I wonder what is in that door? There is even a sleeping princess in the castle It really is tiny Lets take a walk up to the castle
  23. At last, I am posting the final part of my trip report from Thailand. The last park I visited was Dreamworld. I had been once before but my camera had died, but I knew what to expect. One note that I got from reading Jahan`s trip report here, was that he paid 350 Baht but only got one ride on each attraction. I can only assume that this was because he was with Thai People, they pay less for everything. I qued in the normal line and half way round an attendant asked if I spoke Thai, when I said no she said I had to go to Guest relations. In Guest relations I was charged 650 Baht and given a sticker, however this allowed me unlimited rides. I would suggest going for this option. the extra 300 Baht, around $10, was well worth it to get re rides. Also get there early, in the morning everything was a walk on but after lunch the place was mobbed. Enjoy That's the last coaster pic for a bit. get ready to be amazed at the theming. Just a few coaster pics, then I will go back to the amazing themeing of this park. theming It was fairly quiet in the morning Space Mountain, of course. ? Who knows what is in this lovely building? They were only refurbishing Hurricane. I spy a construction wall. Bag man. Small Castle. The themeing at the front of this park is very nice. I will resist the Small World reference
  24. I have posted my first POV from Thailand over here. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=383540
