The Rumor / Crazy Idea Superthread
traincrossin replied to Wes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Removing a perfectly good B&M and replacing it with another B&M? Yea, that makes perfect sense. Even if SFGAdv did that, I think you would still have a bunch of people thinking it was Bizarro but with some new paint or something. -

I have the same question, so can someone answer for the sake of 2 people. ParkDat will let you replace dat files. It's nice because it shows you what items you are already using in game and all the free slots you have. -
TPR Front Page RE-Design Contest!

I have a couple ideas that i'd like to try out, just one question. Would you like more of a widescreen (16:9) layout or do you want a standard (4:3) resolution? -
Liseberg looks like a fantastic park! Great rides, beautiful landscaping, crazy arcade games, and just some nice charm. What a debut trip report from the big man! Also, i'm following you on Twitter now I am going with the ridiculous guess of 6 duckies. Need to redeem myself, I won't be runner up again this year!

Not picking on you specifically, but a lot of people have talked about ride systems over the last couple of pages and how either they're really cool, disappointed with them, had much more potential, etc. I think what some people are forgetting about here is that the ride vehicle doesn't make the ride, the story and how it is told does. For example, Little Mermaid is using the same ride system as Haunted Mansion and that's over 40 years old now, yet the storyline is explained in a much better way than FJ. The kuka arms on Forbidden Journey are cool, but a non-Potter fan is so confused just because the ride and queue line do a poor job of explaining the story. Hopefully the new Gringotts ride will do a better job of this and if Universal can figure that out then the new expansion will be great.

My Computer, C Drive, Program Files (x86), Infogrames Interactive, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. That should be where your ObjData folder is along with screenshots, saved games, and other stuff. -

With the money they'll be raking in with Fast Lane, I don't think they'll have to worry about adding another ride op. -

Point Buzz went on an off-season tour of Cedar Point today and said on Twitter that they're going to get a Fast Lane system next year. Link
