Oh man, i'm a terrible Big Mike reader. I've been busy catching up on updates from nearly a year ago on page 692! Glad I took the time to read through them all though and relive some of your fun adventures from all over the place, even China! And of course I have to mention those crazy ducks. Looking forward to more reports and I hope I can see you again sometime this year, i'll be at Cedar Point all summer long!

I believe they went with barrel rolls because of the low g-forces compared to something like a loop.

That great thing about Gatekeeper is that it'll be a fun coaster to ride, but also an impressive one to just look at, especially with those keyholes over the entrance.

Because that's the picture that gets updated by the webcam, so the picture is refreshing and always changing.

Looks like Rocky Mountain Coasters is working on the Cornball Express and other changes are being made around the park like the Water Swings moving back to their original location. Link Link The paddle wheel is being taken off for repair and a new coat of paint

Outlaw Run has always looked like an incredible ride and i'm glad to hear it delivers on everything! The only thing I was concerned about was the length, but I guess what they say is true, length doesn't matter That Batman comparison makes perfect sense because I love it! I'm sure we'll see a lot more from RMC in the coming years.

Saw two guys just pissing in the bushes off the midway over by Maverick last summer. Then once I got in the station, there was a handicapped guy trying to get on the train. He said he didn't need any help as he crawled across the seats. To everyone else in the station that didn't hear him though, it looked like the employees were intentionally being rude and not helping at all. As someone else got off the ride, he just started cussing and telling off all the employees for not helping the handicapped guy. He went towards the employee stairs to the station though, so he had to turn back around and keep up his tough guy act as he walked to the actual exit.

If anyone is planning on driving through Ohio for opening weekend and doesn't mind another passenger, let me know!

Welcome back Tony! Always seemed like you had more natural enthusiasm for the park than other blogs out there.

Since i'll be working and staying at Cedar Point this summer, i'm just wondering where the best place to stay is? Not every place has AC or is on the peninsula. For anyone who stayed in a dorm without a kitchen, what did you do for food?

Gatekeeper is looking super pretty at the front of the park! I'm thinking Gatekeeper is going to be a fun ride. Nothing intense, just a giggly fun ride that makes you go "wheeeeee!!" Seems like a lot of TPR peeps including myself are working at Cedar Point this summer! I'll be sure to say hi if anyone stops by Gatekeeper

On the site it says "Theme Park Studio will be available to purchase from Summer 2013".

My best guess is they're either invisible or haven't been installed yet.

I like how they said "H. Giant United States flag". Not just any flag, a giant flag! On a side note, i'm going to be running Gatekeeper this year! Looking forward to seeing some TPR members this summer and the whole crew during the Texas and Midwest trip.

Don't know about you guys, but I enjoy observation towers that have air conditioning.
