Hopefully that would work better than the Timberliner trains, I just don't know how much money they're willing to spend for another Gravity Group test project. -

I'll see you there! I think some of you guys might be confusing head banging to the whiplash you sort of get when going through those super tight transitions. -

If Holiday World ever got topper track on Voyage, that would just be a giant slap in the face to Gravity Group. It would help return it to its former glory, but I can't imagine GG would be too happy. Seems like all of Gravity Group's coasters don't age very well. -

^^I'm slightly worried someone might accidentally bump into one of those big mushroom E-stops. -

I remember in an interview a while ago they said that they had looked into building a dark ride at the park before. The only place big enough at the time would have replaced the arcade near Batman, but for it to be popular they would have had to use some IP or brand. I'm not sure if that still holds true today. I always thought the best place for a dark ride would have been in the Southwest Territory where TrailBlazer used to be. A western themed shooting dark ride would fit right in.

At GateKeeper you can go into the menu on the touch screen and stop the train in any block. We did that when doing block checks, although you might need to be in manual mode to do so. Or if you don't want the train to enter the station, just let go of the advance and dispatch button. -
Knoebels Discussion Thread

As much as I would love a terrain hugging RMC coaster, when was the last time Knoebels built a coaster that wasn't based on a ride from the past or relocated? -

Shot in the dark, eh? Shooting dark ride confirmed for 150th! -
I know Universal is going to be making bank by making you buy a park hopper ticket to visit both Potter lands, but I would hate to be the ride op for the Hogwarts Express that had to tell guests and children that they aren't allowed to ride the train to the other side. I can only imagine how many frustrated families there will be.

Fit better? Yes. Make more money? Probably not. -
https://www.facebook.com/ACEMidwest I'm slightly confused - the park has a huge amount of people turn out for jobs but turns to local community to volunteer? Perhaps this is more of a goodwill play on ACE's part but still a little strange. Or maybe it's a new exercise program for ACErs... I'm sorry, but I had to say it. This is pretty interesting though. Shots fired!

This would be very similar to SF Great America. There is a covered bridge going into most sections of the park, some of which are over service roads themselves. It's a great idea shade wise and aesthetic wise. I just wish parks would add new "living" tunnels similar to SF Over Georgia or SF St. Louis. Those things are so cool looking and tend to feel even cooler than a 'normal' shade structure. Don't forget covered bridges are the perfect places for parties in the middle of thunderstorms! Could you imagine it if Cedar Point revamped all of Soak City one year to try and claim the title of best waterpark in the country? Then they'd have both best amusement park and waterpark Golden Tickets which could be huge for marketing purposes. I doubt that will ever happen though. -

I don't have the source off hand, but the park has mentioned that the restraints will have the modification that Gatekeepers restraints had in the 2nd half of the season; So there shouldn't be any tightening. And if you rode GateKeeper with those modified restraints you know how much better they are! Here's another picture of the train, loving the yellow! Tweet -
I think he wants to connect the two sides of the Twisted Twins together into only one coaster That world's longest wooden coaster could easily turn into the world's longest pain ride if the don't maintain it. Kentucky Kingdom has such an ambitious construction schedule! I'm sure the project managers are on top of things, but part of me just doesn't think everything will be ready by opening day.
