  1. They are playing the 2nd stage at Ozzfest next summer. By the way, if I hadn't mentioned it before. (I know I did though) I love this TR! One of the best evah!
  2. I will have my revenge upon that evil towel! In my defense, I did nothing to provoke it. I customarily poke everything with a fork that is placed in front of me during mealtime. I honestly thought it was a steaming egg roll, or an albino turd. One can be easily confused when in a food coma.
  3. If by "striking" you mean like a blunt object to the face. Then yes!
  4. It's not exactly the same dates each year. However it seems to usualy wind up being around the 3rd week in October. IMHO, it's always nice to have another female around. It can be quite a sausage fest, and we need some female insanity to balance the hormone scale just a bit. I must say however, Cameron does make a willing and discreet bunkmate.
  5. Mmmmmmm? Let me see. Eat a rotting maggot infested corpse or eat at Ohanas. Pretty much the same to me.
  6. Amen to that! Yeah, I have never gotton a bloody nose from an Arrow. Any Arrow.
  7. Join the TPR crew for a few days while your there. It is guaranteed to be an experience you will never forget. Or... ...it might be an experience you will want to permanantly erase from your memory. Either way, it would be an experience. Whether you remember it or not.
  8. I went to DW a long time ago. It was called Silver Dollar City then. I think the charm of that park still exists today. Craftmans Junction is an awesome area in and of itself. They just need to keep up with the huge influx of new patrons that are visiting because it has now become a destination park. Their management is real good there. They are just experiencing growing pains. I think if themed well. (Which DW does a great job) A skyride could become a beautiful addition to this park. Imagine slowly gliding through the trees during the changing of the seasons in the fall. It would be an amazing ride.
  9. I forgot about the "Spidey" breakdown. It was awesome! We had this fireball effect going off in our faces like half a dozen times before they shut it down and cycled the cars through the ride. It definitely got hot in there. I was going to strip down naked, but didn't want Jahan to feel threatened. JK! As usual, excellent commentary on a great TR! I look forward to the rest.
  10. ^What atmosphere are you speaking of? The horrible flow of traffic on fairly small midways. Or the constant barage of overweight fatties running over your feet in their "rascals". I only have two complaints about Dollywood. If your not one of the first 100 cars in the parking lot, you are SOL and have to walk a mile to their front gate. My other complaint with DW is the poor layout. Walk a mile to a dead end. Walk another mile to another dead end. The bottleneck effect in this park is outrageous. I need a "rascal" by the end of the day. I hate to sound so negative. Afterall, Dollywood is one of my favorite parks in the country. I absolutely love it! Unfortunately , they just have a huge traffic problem both inside the park as well as out in the lot.
  11. My high opinion of you has just been demoted. Ohana's blows chow!
  12. Awesome, awesome, awesome, trip report! One of the best I have ever seen. You have captured the essence of Criswell in one fell swoop. I too am a huge fan and am loving your homage to the likes of he who foresees the future. Awesome, awesome, awesome! It was a pleasure to meet you there in Florida. Hope you are feeling better now that you have had a weeks worth of rest.
  13. They shut the park down? Did they refund your money?
  14. Why not? It would be a fairly inexpensive addition to the park.
  15. I have got to get to northern Europe! So many wonderful parks! So little time.
  16. I don't have a problem woth Arrow restraints as I am fairly tall and they don't bash my head around. I will miss it.
  17. ^ Say no more! Python will be missed. It is a fun Arrow ride. I'm glad I was able to pay my respects last week.
  18. This ride looks beautiful. I know it's a stupid question, but where is Eifeling located?
  19. I think DW has done an excellent job of mixing both theme park elements. Rides as well as themeing. I would love to see them continue in the direction they are headed. So far their choices have been right on the money. As nice as it would have been to get a nice "family" coaster as you call it. I understand the reasons as to why they passed on the "ZP." I wonder how the rumored "Ice House" theme for the top of the hill is comming along. I would also love to see some sort of transport ride that would take you from one side of the park to the other. Like an eagles flight or a ski lift style ride. It could have 3 stations. One in the county fair, one way up in craftmans alley by TT and BF. Finaly the last leg of it over in the Thunderhead Gap Valley. This combined with the loop from MM over to the TT area will realy give this park a more coherent flow. Just my 2 cents. It looks as if they have a lot of room to expand. I only filled in the areas that I could tell were most likely theirs.
  20. ^Exactly. They close at 5pm. Then spend two hours clearing and sweeping the park to prepare for the 7pm re-opening for the HHN victims. Disney does it a little different. All the people that come in for MNSSHP get wrist bands. Everyone without a wrist band is ushered to the exit. It is a very interesting process. There is one huge crowd of people filing into the park on the right with wrist bands. The people on the left are all being escorted out. I'm told by Reid and Stacy that security is real great at seperating the incomming and the outgoing. It is an amazing process that is impecably coordinated and pulled off. Hope that answers your question. Oh... ...I see your British. I also see that your new. I'll try to say this as best as possible without sounding too creepy. Are you hot? Why havn't you posted any pictures of yourself yet. We loves us the UK chicks here in TPR. Don't be shy. Let the world bask in your Spice Girl glory. Just kidding. Welcome! Guy "God I'm shameless." Ohana
  21. Good Tower will cause that in the most fearless of men. I actually think that was mid-bowel movement. Kimmy hold me. I have to pee!
  22. Jahan+PTR= As I've told you before. I love your TRs. They are honest, funny, heartwarming, and true. My thoughts about these parks exactly. I didn't realize you got all choked up about Illuminations so much. I would have made fun of you more had I known. Actually, I shed a tear as well. But, it was probably from the intense heat and not the emotional response from the show. JK! I think it is by far the best of the Disney fireworks shows I've ever seen. Keep up the awesome job.
