Xcalibur is a really forceful ride...smooth and slow but forceful. Imagine being on a Spin Out ride that pins you down to your seat/cusion but being on the outside where you can see everything around you. The best part is definetely when your at the very top looking straight down and it's awesome because it comes within a few feet above the queue line. Nice breeze on a hot day I must say.

I just have to say that I'm really excited about the new Busch opening a week from today, the 10th. And what more to say besides GO CARDINALS! -

Photo TR: A boring day in St. Louis (Oct.)
St.LouisBOI replied to St.LouisBOI's topic in Random, Random, Random
Yeah, I love it here...we just need more coasters! Sorry to the people who were looking for an "Elissa Friendly Place" and they didn't find it in this PTR even though across the street from Kiener Plaza is (I believe) a McDonald's but I can't stand the food. The sodas are good at least... -
Back in October I was very bored one day and Busch Stadium was due to be destroyed the next week. So I went downtown and hung around the half new and old stadium for one last time. If you haven't read the topic line, I am in St. Louis people. Hope you enjoy! P.S. This is my first actual TR on TPR, so if I did something wrong...please give me a break now. And I wrap up this trip report with a view of Six Flags St. Louis at the top of The Ninja lifthill. Thanks for reading! Here is a view of the new stadium seating and where I am standing is where the outfield is going to be. Wow, half of the new Busch Stadium is already up and looking pretty good. This is now a unique picture due to the old Busch Stadium already gone. Another shot of the inside of Busch Stadium. If you look to the upper left corner, you'll see that workers already have taken the "nose bleed" seats out. This picture is worth a million words and the only word that I got to say is MOVE. Literally, I had to claw my way through a group of people to stick my camera through the security bars and take this picture...so you better like it! What do we have here? OMG, it's Busch Stadium which is now sadly gone. Stare at it as long as you want because you'll never see it again in person. More of Keiner plaza and the city buildings that surround it. Keiner Plaza with tall buildings and the arch reflected in building windows. That is me in a very popular and great photo op part of Keiner Plaza in downtown St. Louis. (the water is red from a Cardinals celebration...if you still don't understand, I mean the basebal team.)

Final Destination 3

^ Actually the guy that had the camera was Frankie (the drive through guy) and he did indeed get off of the coaster and even before they got into the coasters cars the hydralics were already leaking or something was. -

The coaster was from Playland in Canada...alot of the coaster in the movie was CGI. -
Final Destination 3

I totally have to agree with you KrakenKing... SPOILERS The 2 girls in the tanning bed part was a shock to me especially with how long the scene went on with them burning to death, it basically showed all the stages they went through. From sweating to burning to roasting to bubbling to flaming. I felt really bad for them especially since they were both naked. When Erin got those nail's in her head, she was still alive and her face was twitching! It was so nasty because you could hear her moan and blood was pouring everywhere. The part that really got me by surprise was the weight lifting scene when he says "F**k death!" and the swords come down and cut the wires to his machine...but nothing happens and he laughs and he works out again only for the 2 huge weights to come smashing into his head and his head explodes everywhere! Oh man... -

Seriously, I thought the movie was great...I went in with an open mind and I came out smiling happy as ever. It really is better than the 2nd, even if it isn't as intense as the 1st. -
If anyone decides to visit St.Louis anytime, you HAVE to go to Ted Drew's which is an ice cream parlor and it's supposedly a small landmark of St.Louis known for its frozen custards...yum!

Sea Paradise/Cosmoworld & SFSL Videos
St.LouisBOI replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The SFSTL video is awesome, I love the music with it. It's very fitting and reminds me somewhat of the Batman theme song in the station. I'm guessing that this was filmed in the 2000-2002 period since the line for the Boss was all the way to the wrap-arounds which are rarely filled up anymore and the wood is still a rich brown. -
Any AB beer/budlight/budweiser is fine to me! They always film at least one of them at Grant's Farm which is like 2 min. away from my house.
