Wonderland needs some serious competition. I hope within the next few seasons Marineland adds a medium coaster and a few flats/attractions to get the ball rolling. You'd need some aggressively deep pockets to make it successful. I wonder who purchased it. -

Was there on Sunday/Monday. TT2 is insane going backwards and from what I'm hearing the silver train is the one that has shaky moments more than the other two trains. Sunday it broke down twice in line making a one hour wait closer to two and a half hours while Monday it didn't break down nearly as much and they pumped people through and didn't limit Fastlane riders to one ride like they were advertising a few weeks ago, though that might change later this year . This ride is easily top 4 in the park IMO and more reliable than Maverick or Steel Vengeance. It's also a better ride overall than its predecessor. -

From the latest drone videos on YouTube I'm seeing.... it might look like The Bat could be the next low capacity clone we're getting rid of next. They've cut open two new tunnels into the mountain the passed few weeks and reinforced a service tunnel which aligned perfectly with the newest hole by Thunder Run's exit. The other larger tunnel is under Vortex's lift hill and I'm guessing will be used for bringing in track and turning it into the station with que lines once everything is in place. But I will never say no to those two leaving as well... I feel like a complete overhaul of that land is coming within a few more years. -

Lots of changes being talked about by the park among those being Skyflyer officially being finished, new VIP area at All's Well Hall & the demolition of multiple buildings around Thunder Run/The Fly for "future development". Also there's notice of even more news next month! https://fb.watch/qOdi7MNLBg/ -

Variety is the spice of life and current;y the top 3 is all floater. An ejector machine and a modern family woodie is what we currently need the most. Last I checked Gerstlauer, Mack & Vekoma were fairly reliable, it's okay to give them a chance as well... that's what everyother park does. -

So according to Amusement Insider's new video, there is a footer right outside of the service tunnel which basically all but erases the possibility of any B&M's which I am quite happy about. 1:50 is where the best angle to view this is.The tunnel is too narrow for four across seats plus having enough space for regular maitenance inside the tunnel. I'm assuming a launched Mack/Vekoma is coming our way... time will tell for where the station will be located between the theatre/Crystal Palace/SkyFlyer plot and hopefully it'll give Levi a run for its money. -

I'm hearing that since the owner died his wife took over and is looking to put a lot more investment into the park. Apparently the previous owner was very money conscious and never wanted to put money towards something that wasn't guaranteed to come back to him. I would love to see a Skyline ride come in the next couple of seasons, or even a RMC Raptor. Build a couple more flats and increase the kids section. The park has a decent skeleton, it just requires some major renovations and a couple standout rides from CW & Darien Lake. -

They have room on that new hill by Minebuster plus that empty patch by Black hole. Also I would take out a couple of the smaller capacity slides that take up a lot of real estate for more compact and unique attractions. -

Care to elaborate.... How was not having a small drop after the first immelmen? Did the vest restraints affect your ride? How do you compare it to other dives (if you rode any) What was the best/worst moment? Enjoy the theming ? -
Help with Canadian coaster trip.

There are no other parks other than those two for an above 14 year old expectation of roller coasters. I would go an enjoy the music scenes, food, breweries and beaches along the way. Of course depending on the month you plan on going. -

Vortex's lift hill is built on a mountain, how is that topography not appropriate? It's helix is also around a island in the middle of the pond. Looking at the KI version on Google maps just looks like they plopped it on a piece of flat land with a lot of tree's.... ho hum. -

That pic of the Orbiter site is actually a lot larger than what I was guessing from the satellite map. It looks like it can either hold another flat, but I'd also be down for a full sit down restaraunt. -

Rock work looks great, seems to consistently haul u til the break run... love the station and the buildings coming together nicely. Lots of great angles for a plethora of vids/pics. Clearly there's a lot of work left to be done, but based on the on ride POV's I'd say I'm very happy with this investment. -

What is everyone's opinion on Rmcing Minebuster, but instead of making it a hybrid, they give it the Lightning Rod treatment. 1) RMC has learned a lot from their prototype 2) Minebuster is around the same length, so just make it a double launch and obviously taller 3)It would be unique to the area and a first out and back double launched woodie 4)It would make a great top 5 coaster 5)Call it Northern Lights -

I was hoping there would be better food options other than the same ol' chicken tenders, burgers and funnel cakes along with the generic "International Plates". If KD, Carrowinds,Knott's and CP can up their food game it strikes me a bit odd that CW is stuck in the early 2000's. -

What else is there to say without the park actually being opened that hasn't already been said? On top of that the only news we are getting in regards to Yukon Stryker has had a falling out with this forum. From what I can tell You, the wooden structure for a station is looking great and there seems to be 2-3 New food stands/shops being erected and the water tower looks beautiful. As far as people gushing over it I think will have to wait until opening day. -

I'm hoping that it's an active water tower with some sort of water feature coming out of it. Maybe we can also get a large stone fireplace like Carrowinds, it stills fits the theme and would help in colder nights/October. -

According to Grace Peacock Orbiter has bitten the dust. No immediate plan on what the replacement is. The last of its kind in North America I believe. -

The only thing I would change from above is that you can take the subway to the Vaughn Metropolitan City Centre subway station From the downtown core and take a 10 minute ride which will bring you directly to wonderland. -

I'm curious to see if next season they take an off year like the past two B&Ms or they make another addition. There is now a new hill beside the wave pool plus an Action Theatre and Dinos area that will presumably be dormant for the 2019 season. Btw, has anyone seen any construction starting for the "2020" hotel? -

All that's left is the vertical loop as far as track is concerned. The rest of the off season will be focused on Frontier Canada. I hope they don't half ass it with details. We've had it pretty good weather wise so far so I hope we are a little more ahead with building. And I would appreciate if we grow new trees for all the ones we lost because of this project. -

Looking at the recently updated Google Maps for Wonderland, they do have enough room just east of Action Theatre in the old que to put in a 1-2 storie Restaraunt there. Maybe add some theming to Canadiana and reopen Action Theatre in the next couple of years. There is definitely enough space for a sit down, and I would love to see one in the park and that seems to be a great space for it.
