Well, as you can tell, I tried getting some info out of him lol. Was worth a shot But either way, wnycoasters has replied to instagram posts of DL with info and stating he has connections as well. Who knows, maybe he’s actually legit. Would be nice if we’re actually getting something big in coming years. I doubt it, the kid might not even be out of puberty.

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

Dont get me wrong, this looks like itll be a great ride, id ride it, itll be fun and id love to have it at my home park. The only part I was agreeing with was that a lot of B&M's seem to be very similar. That said, their cookie cutter is amazing compared to Vekoma's or Arrow's terrible cookie cutter. Wegman's (B&M) vs. Walmart (Vekoma) if you will. -

No, I'm acting like this is the exact same ride I can go on in many different parks throughout the US or North America, or the World: hell, even pretty much in the exact same park, which is why there's no incentive to visit once this ride opens. You know it, I know it, Robb Alvey knows it, people who consistently ride coasters know it. Hell, even my family and friends know this B&M cookie cutter crap just does not cut it or warrants additional visits to the park. Orion is a Mako, Diamondback, Fury, Leviathon, Behemoth, blah blah blah all the same. Trim brakes on airtime hills, blah blah blah all the same. This is the same crap B&M has been doing for about 20 years now. Enough is enough. Parks dropping $20+ Million on coasters need to do better than this, because it's a joke, and I don't know why that is a problem for some of you "enthusiasts" to hope for instead of applauding the next turd they crap out. And I don't know why wanting parks to create better rides than this is frowned upon. Yeah I'm critical of ride additions at times, I think Kings Island could have created a much better ride experience than this for the money, and I think they should have instead of just bending over to the constituency! I don't see why there's anything wrong with having that opinion. Im with you on this, I havent ridden a ton of B&M's, but watching some POV's they all seem pretty much the same with a few exceptions. -
No, CP uses their version of Grizzly Run as a corn maze. The trough where the rafts and water usually are is drained and lined with corn stalks. Fright Fest isnt a kids oriented event anyways so who cares if its normally a family area. Grizz is in that section that as fully blocked off last year during Fright Fest. Rowdy’s ridge and Mind Eraser were all closed, so unless they were to find a way of having enough workers to keep that area open, not sure if they’d want to do that. Simple to block off between Sleighride and Campfire Grill. Especially if they use the normal Viper exit vs. the Galaxy Theater exit.

There were two built for Darien Lake. One was more custom that headlined on the show. The other was similar in design, but built more around one of their standard semi-custom choppers as something that could be driven. The second was the one that was to be raffled off. Except the winner turned out to be Canadian and the motorcycle wasn't legal by their regs. So the raffle bike sported a For Sale sign for about two years. Oh I thought you were talking about the coaster train bikes.
