I'd say they'll put the entrance at the very edge of the camp store and the office, so you can still access the arcade and Motocoaster.

^Don't forget that Darien already had the blueprints for RMC Predator made. Back to a realistic note, a Starflyer would be fun, but Windseeker scared me half to death. And a Giant Discovery would be nice as I liked MaxAir.

Moving to something else, Six Flags seems to be having a crisis with naming! So far I've seen Six Flags Darien Center, Six Flags Darien Lake, and just plain Darien Lake.

Well that's a change of pace from what I'm used to. Not to mention last year Darien closed most rides at a slight shower, last week I rode Viper in the pouring rain.

^We showed up to Darien in 40-45° weather, the GM personally thanked everyone who showed up. Only Rolling Thunder, and Viper were open, as it was too cold for hydraulics to operate according to maintenance.

Darn, I've never really been to a Six Flags parks other than this one so I have no idea what to think.

About the error on the Six Flags site...

those buses have to be long gone or just beyond repair unfortunately, but i agree would be nice to see come back. I'm pretty sure some of the busses hang out in the area behind Viper with that random tram.

Ride Of Steel rules the first few times, but after marathoning it can get boring. Viper is my favorite coaster there, but Tantrum hasn't opened. I enjoyed Predator until last year, It hurt everywhere. The other coasters are average as they are clones, but ME isn't as bad a everyone says IMO. Now on the subject of Fantasy Island, Silver Comet is okay, it is in fact my favorite woodie, but Max's Doggy Dog Coaster is #1 in New York, if not the country.

For the later part of opening day, the crowds were getting insane, and I mean crazy. So as we know Tantrum's track was in the overflow lot, so when we arrived about 1 hour after rope drop there was a security car in front of the lot blocking it. So after about 5 minutes a small crane-ish looking thing came out and starting hauling the remaining track to the park so guests could park there. The aforementioned car. The crane arriving. Track being moved while onlookers watch on. The crowd does NOT look to bad eh? Now it's getting out of hand... It was hard to navigate this one. Also the parking lot that I mentioned was 1/2 filled.

Why am I not surprised that Predator made the bottom woodie list.

I got a park map in the mail. They used Dare Devil Dive trains for Tantrum. I do believe it's the same company who made the maps for SFOG, so I would not be surprised if they just reused the icon.

C'mon Darien! Ten years and we still have to wait two more weeks after opening?! I mean they're adding something new, but try to open your "star" attraction with the park. Also do Eurofighters have the teething problems that the bigger models have?
