I went to a museum a couple of years ago in San Jose, CA and it had all this roller coaster stuff (that's why we went) but they also had an earthquake simulator. It was freaky, you stand on it and then you push the button and it just started shifting...it was supposed to be like the one in SF in 1906.
Well, not for me. It really scared me because it just came with no warning at all...and it seemed to not stop! I didn't know if the roof was going to fall! I tried hard to remember what to do in an earthquake, and by the time I got in the door frame it was over....but it was a scary 5 or so seconds. Not something I'd like to experience anytime soon again.
Two things -
1 - They changed "Drop Zone" to "Stunt Tower"?
2 - About that flat ride in the link you posted, The next flat I could see Cedar Fair putting in at PGA is a Screamin' Swing.
I've donated once...$20 to the Hurricane Katrina stuff. I don't have a job or anything though so ... yeah. I felt really good about myself when I did that though.
I thought it was just called the Bay Bridge???
Yeah, I guess....well I don't like driving on that bridge!
Thanks, now I'll be nervous on the top too...
^ Shoot, what's that bridge called that's double decker?
whenever we drive to LA we go on it...anyways I always get nervous when we're on the lower section, because of that!
^ Hmm that's interesting.
And also, that pic of the new Perilious Plunge boats scared me! I thought they were on Xcelerator! Restraints like that would definately make it a little less thrilling. I love those Intamin T-bars!
Haha okay so I'm 6' 3" and my friend wanted me to take some pics where I look like a giant... here's the best I could come up with..
Okay now turn your head and cough....*cough*
Yeah...stopping on the back spike...sure glad my V2 (SFMW) doesn't do that anymore! I thought twisting on the back spike (Wicked Twister) was much more intense, and pleasant, than stopping and getting hurt in the crotch.
