Yeah, tolerance levels do differ for people. For instance, when I rode Psyclone I thought it was smooth, and my first ride on Viper was smooth (although the second hurt). Of course, Blue Streak from the back is not smooth at all, but everyone already knows that.

The Lipstick camera is a small add-on to Robb's existing camera. He mounts it using duct tape on the front of a ride and it provides a stable POV shot. Am I right?
