The ONLY time I have ever seen people NOT able to ride after they have waited in a line at close... was at Mt. Olympus. Huge surprise. It was on the last train out on Hades. Everyone up there had waited in line, and 2 guys - happened to be TPR guys - were going to be in the train after, but they weren't going to send another train. They looked disappointed but walked out like troopers. Appropriate behavior indeed, but you can bet I would have made a bee-line for guest services (is there one there?) or a manager to let them know how uncool (in a polite way, of course) that was.

^Totally understandable. I worked for the park for 3 years in the 90s and staffing in late August/September was always an issue. However... CP is a business, and if you pay people enough, they will come out to work. -

^Ugh, no :/ Remembering Gemini with 3 trains, no seatbelts, no airgates... the queue full and half way down the length of the ride - no more than 30 mins. Still a great ride! Capacity is still good, just different. -

^That is wretched! 90 minutes for Rougarou!? I guess Gemini is always a fall back, and a great ride. Oh wait, they don't run 3 trains anymore, do they? Still couldn't be too bad, could it? -

Does anyone know why Cedar Point is open until 10 tonight and not the usual 8 for Sundays in October? Is there something special going on? I was thinking of stopping in tonight… unless there’s some special event signaling extra large crowds. -

It was very good! I’m kind squeamish when it comes to gristle and meat in general, but damn that was tasty. In fact, tonight I was trying to locate where they had it in the park. Was it just a special for last night? I know where all the rides are at Knoebels, but not the food. -

^Do it! It really is the bomb, Knoebels outdo themselves every year. They spoil the heck out of us. I would also suggest the PPP Facebook page… That’s where you can find out when and where to sign up for the Friday night event. If you are in almost any coaster/park club, you can sign up and bring a friend. I had bacon on a stick for the first time last night! -

It baffles me how Phoenix seems to get faster every year. Twister is still my favorite ride here, though. Best of all worlds! -

I found heaven. All that plus a new fancy bathroom! I’m parking it here till Monday... wild horses couldn’t drag me away. -

^I haven't been on Iron Rattler myself, but I know American Eagle and Viper at Great America do it. It sure could be a spectacle! Bring it to a near stop and let the train roll over. -

I hope SteVen had a near-stop at the top, like American Eagle, etc. The anticipation and view is killer. Over the hill fast is overrated and CP has plenty of that. -

AND the restraints are better. It also has excellent operations and is at a park that has great overall operations... the ride has a great view, and probably a few more reasons Dragster is better. Even so, those are my opinions. Some folks love KKa more. It would suck if we all agreed! -

^I did read that, good report! So... did T3 (having the longest line per your report) run 2 trains or 1? Also, how many seats are there on the trains? I'm not super-excited to ride that ride or anything, just wondering about their operations. -

Seems strange they wouldn't run 2 trains on T3 as it's so popular. Does the train still only hold 14 people? I remember when that ride opened in the 90s, it had that short train (7 rows of 2 seats). -

Do they run multiple trains on the coasters (besides Thunder Run)? I have heard so many stories of one train ops and slow operations... having driven past the park a few times, I'm still reluctant to stop in. My last visit was 2009 or 2010; I always spent most of my time in Greezed Lightnin' as I'm a HUGE Schwarzkopf fan. I was also there on that day in 2007. -
From what I heard... if you are spotted at the park (by security, or an employee, for example) then they can press charges. Or something like that. Someone else can explain better I'm sure! I do know one person in particular (a former "park/coaster friend") who is banned from all Six Flags forever, apparently. He was a bad boy, repeatedly. Too much acting up and acting out, and the sad thing is he doesn't understand how to own his behavior.
