  1. Blue Streak is always the first and last ride. I could ride that all day. Its too bad Maverick is in the same park.
  2. Sometimes I wonder what those folks in China (and basically all of Asia) actually call kiddie coasters like Coastal Ant and Hyper Kid Coaster. Do they just call them "Kiddie Coaster" like we call ours? Here are some other interesting names I could find while I browse interesting listings on RCDB: "Let's take a ride on Boogie-woogie Space Coaster!" Now they don't actually call it this, it must be a messed up translation! I think this is the only coaster on the planet themed to jars. Believe it or not, there are two other coasters themed to bananas! Okay maybe theming rides to bananas isn't as strange as we think: there is a "park" called "Go Bananas" in Illinois. There are sixty one roller coasters that steal the model name. Much worse than our American Miner Mike Clones. This is adorable. One day I will get this credit when I finally make it over to Lewa Adventure to ride Flash. Again, there are twenty nine coasters that share a name that are all the same model. They need to be a bit more creative over there. What is so attractive about a kiddie coaster themed to rats? They have to call this ride by its name - its a knockoff SLC! Iron Rattler's little brother should change its name to this. The fact that this was "new" intrigued me but then HOPKINS There are seventy five Asian coasters named "spinning coaster" but this one forgot to bring its A-game. And here are some other self-explanatory strange names: In The Woods Flying Mouse Inertia Airplane Car MORE RATS! NDH Flying Lion Coaster wtf? Here, take this L. Taiwanese junior coasters are raising the roof! Here, take this A. Space Vehicles! That was a hell of a post. Thanks for being intrigued like me.
  3. That's a real toss up between Coaster Ant and Crazy Elves... but I'll go with Mega Lite. Rusutsu Resort
  4. Again, that was just wishful thinking. They'll probably change up the layout. As far as non-skyrocket IIs... a B&M Invert? Flyer? Wing? Dive? SeaWorld works with like every Manufacturer so maybe we'll see a Zierer like Impulse @ Knoebels. Edit: They said compact so maybe something like Impulse isn't totally out of the question. But I still think an inverting Hyper GTX best fits the description of a new inverting compact coaster around 150 feet. I don't see a Zierer breaking 120 feet, let alone 150.
  5. What about one of those inverting Chance Hyper GTX models? They are relatively compact and But that's wishful thinking. I guess we may have to settle with a Sky Rocket II, which is by no means a bad ride.
  6. Thanks for sharing! Interested to say what the new GCI's layout will look like. Hoping for something like Wood Coaster at Knight Valley
  7. I tried to change the main topic away from the opening year but look what just happened ^^
  8. It's not an ordinary double helix. That helix banks past 90 degrees if you look very closely. There are some offride videos on YouTube that confirm this. Also notice the speed with which it traverses the zero-g roll. Lots of whip. Looks better than Batman for sure.
  9. We know its 2018, alright; fine. But what elements will it have? I need to speculate and hear your speculations.
  10. Just had a thought. Since it's a hybrid, and if they go for a Hyper, wouldn't it be the tallest wooden coaster structure (taller than Lightning Rod's 205 ft, but that's with the terrain)?
