  1. yes i'm taking over the whole board - probably best if you have a day off... When are you going to have your North American trip? That way I will know when to read up on your post's to see how you like them. June.
  2. right - apparently my posts have been deemed as spam by the regular users (yes i admit they kinda look the part). i posted in the park specific threads as they get max exposure and they are in topic anyway -i guess you veterans would have seen these many times over and perhaps sick of it all. if it was me, i'd move on rather than troll and sabotage but hey everyone is different. i'll continue in the thread for my road trip seeking advice, i hope you are equally forthcoming with actual advice as roll-eyes i have been getting. thanks to those who responded with genuine advice and my apology to

  5. yes i'm taking over the whole board - probably best if you have a day off... I think he is referring to the former slide complex that shall not be named at Darien Lake. Not you going paranoid...

  8. That's quite unfortunate that you're getting not so appreciated responses. Hopefully you find the information you're looking for! What other parks do you plan on visiting? maybe I should treat my canadian colleagues a bit better, as you guys are being so nice to me... SFMM, CP, KI, SFGAvd, SFNE, HP, DP, BGW, KD - are these the acronyms you use?
  9. I'm from NZ - and yes, before AND after the trip I'll be visiting NZ's premier theme park, Rainbow's End for comparison. You guys should look it up.
  10. ok i'd have thought i'd get more/better feedback on a specific park on its dedicated discussion thread, that's all. if it's not how it's done around here, now i know. as you may have noticed, the road trip thread i started was not flooded with replies - although it gave me a good starting point to complie a list of the parks to visit.
  11. What a mind blowing ride it is. The list corrected accordingly - I'm in your debt, good sir...
  12. Thanks for your feedback, pal. That's why I asked you guys question/recommendation in the first place - what do you want me to do, randomly pick a coaster and ride? I'm flying from LAX to CLE, drive to CP, CW and KI, back to CLE and then fly to east coast and do SFGA, SFNE etc etc then back to LAX. My itinerary is not in here because it is park specific thread.
  13. Right thanks guys - I'm getting a bit of hate from other discussion threads (I'm planning a road trip covering 10 parks) as I've been asking the same question in the other threads also - some are thinly veiled sarcasm, others outright "you are dumb" type deal.
  14. Oh well - thanks for the very positive feedback guys, unlike you lucky individuals who happen to live next to theme parks and can go any time you like, all i can rely on is POV videos to roughly sort out what i want to ride - of course I realise POV can't tell you everything but it's a start. and yes, i'm taking three weeks off work to do all these park and more - SFMM and a plane ride to midwest, do CW, CP & KI, then another plane ride to east coast for SFGA, SFNE, Hersheypark, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens W & Dorney Park. So it's probably best if you get busy and report to the mo
  15. ok fair point - i'm just trying to make sure i don't miss out on good stuff. i'm not interested in getting on everything - i'd rather have multiple rides on good ones. unfortunately, these park threads are just so enormous to go through previous advices - i hope you don't think of me lazy but thousands of pages dedicated to a single park is a bit too overwhelming methinks. thanks, sam
  16. Hi guys, I'm planning to visit SFGA this June and not having been there I went through POV videos on Youtube and prioritised the rides as per below. You will probably get the idea of what kind of ride I prefer from the list - that said, I may have missed some good stuff so it would be appreciated if you guys can make recommendations and reasons why. Note that I'll be visiting a bunch of other parks so you will come across similar posts elsewhere - and I had a feedback that one couldn't get the idea of what kind of ride I prefer, I guess probably because it's only small sample of rides I liste

  19. ok fair enough - I'm posting on other park discussion threads as well, so maybe if you check them out as well, probably you might get better idea. in the mean time, you can recommend your personal favourites, i suppose... cheers sam

  22. looks like i'll just go through POV videos and make my own mind up and plan accordingly. (plus recommendations, of course) is it just me who rates maverick at CP higher than millennium force (don't get me wrong, i do love MF)? TTDS was cool but not worth 4 hour wait (i hear rollback is pretty cool though)
