I have not seen RMC give any hints? Source? Or are you talking about the hints that Irvine Ondrey Engineering posted on fb about getting the Cedar Fair contract? Because you do know that IOE works with GCI as well as RMC, correct? Either way they said it's a large project, and all signs point to Hurler. So no, it's not entirely in-house. What leads me to think it's RMC is them saying they're booked for 2017 along with GCI already working with BGW down south.

KD could very well be getting an RMC this year. Source? The Cedar Point board. And keep in mind these guys always poke fun at KD fanboys. Apparently RMC's ally dropped a hint at RMC Hurler.

I wonder what will happen with Carowinds' Hurler? Not sure if I'd expect the same treatment as KD's since it's their only wooden coaster.

I think a B&M Wing coaster would be the perfect fit for KD. It would keep the park perfectly rounded until one of the aging coasters need to be replaced several years down the line. I agree. Would like a launched one like Thunderbird but a dive drop would be nice too.

Really the only think KD is missing is another smooth coaster. Otherwise they're the most well-rounded park behind Cedar Point.

What I mean is the overhead lap bar without the best restraint attached to it. B&M is doing this for their junior inverts since they don't go upside down.

Just use the same trains except the vest is removed.

I just read something on ParkFans that says that Hurler's structure is in very poor shape right now. http://parkfans.net/thread-1642-page-21.html I have to agree that this could be KD's Gwazi/SOB. It seems very suspicious that such a small coaster is being closed for the entire season for "renovation". IMO Hurler is gone within the next couple of years. This isn't like Ghostrider where it's mainly the layout that needed retweaking.

So... any updates on Ziz? Apparently gold and lime green track is out in the open at the B&M manufacturing plant in Ohio.

It all depends on height and body type. I don't experience any roughness on it at all. I'm about 5'5" and 120 lbs. Am I more likely to get headbang or not?

Just wondering: is there any seat on Anaconda that isn't painfully rough?

You should call the park and let them know. I'm sure they've never considered the economic feasibility or potential return on investment of whatever they plan to do with Hurler.

Unless they are in touch with RMC, they just need to get rid of Hurler. It's a waste of money to try and maintain such a crappy and unbearable ride.

Why would they remove Rebel Yell and Ricochet? Hurler is enough. So basically we would go from 14 to 10 coasters in two years. And where did he get the record breaking coaster thing from? EDIT: Just saw the "in jest" part. Anyways if Hurler does get removed, why wouldn't they put in a coaster?

KD is a massive wildcard this year. Hurler is in serious question.

Kings Island is a better park that Cedar Point. I'm dead serious.

I'll take "Rebuilt Hurler" for 2017, Alex Unfortunately I won't. Hurler is just a terrible ride. It's layout is too boring for GCI to do anything to it (unless they re-imagine the entire layout). RMC might make work their magic... But quite honesty I'd rather they just burn the thing to the ground. Even the ashes would make a better attraction.
