  1. This looks completely terrible in every way. Cedar Fair just doesn't care about quality anymore. Time to give my money to a more deserved chain. Smh.
  2. If KD isn't going to add anything for 2017 then can they at least make an effort to make Hurler smooth and add Millennium Flyer trains? And don't defend the coaster right now: it does need new trains in the worst way possible.
  3. I find it funny how nobody even wants a coaster here while on other boards everyone believes any hint presented.
  4. Still X-Works popping up for Kings Dominion is very interesting.
  5. Yeah, for fireworks. They haven't touched it in about a month. The fireworks thing was debunked, was it not? They didn't come out even close to Safari Village.
  6. There is land clearing behind Intimidator 305, plus Hurler just rotting away.
  7. Does RMC have anything for 2017? I haven't heard any rumors so far.
  8. This post combined with your avatar is making my head explode. Also, FRONT SEAT, LEAN FORWARD, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THIS? And yes, Grizzly is very solid but we always use that trick which makes it butter smooth. Hurler and Rebel Yell do nothing for me. Both are amazingly mediocre. I knew someone would see my avatar and say something like that. I know it is a very unpopular opinion, but I found Shockwave to be a very solid ride. I'm on the short side, so perhaps that's why it was so nice to me. The track shaping had to be the worst I've ever seen in my life though. Chinese water torture would be more enjoyable than Shockwave was. Rode Delirium for the first time yesterday and immediately forgot about the TOGO death trap.
  9. Am I the only one that thinks that Grizzly is criminally underrated? It honestly provides some of the best airtime in the park and even Virginia (excluding Apollo's Chariot).
  10. If Mean Streak does eventually get RMC'd, I would love for them to use wooden topper track this time instead of the iron horse. That way Cedar Point will have a record breaking wooden coaster.
  11. More proof of Iron Hurler. Okay seriously, are you trolling? Yes. I'm trying to get you angry. You seem riled up that Canada's Wonderland isn't getting anything this year.
  12. The thing that's great about RMC is that their coasters are thrilling to the max even when more compact. I'm sure if they get the chance they would make Hurler into an ultra thrilling Twisted/Iron/Wicked/New Hurler.
  13. Looks like the CP fanatics are already out in full force. Just go to the Kings Dominion board.
  14. Make sure to do Volcano in the front. It's not only the smoothest but the launch feels amazing in your face.
  15. It's been a confirmed in-house project since the park opened for the season. Seriously.... can this rumor die already? Actually no, it hasn't confirmed to be in-house. The hints that RMC themselves dropped was clear as day pointing at Hurler. And it's not just KD fanboys saying this. Even Cedar Point fanboys acknowledged that it's happening to KD's Hurler. It only makes sense with Hurler being closed this long. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28853&start=31800 https://m.facebook.com/IrvineOndreyEngineering/photos/a.475305665826794.115576.474347982589229/1200454699978550/?type=3&theater Here: . Confirms that the park is working on it. One problem: that was months ago. This thing from IOE was just yesterday. Unless they say otherwise, all signs point to Hurler getting external treatment. And they reminded everyone today that they do things other than PLCs for coasters. Back story folks: Anne and Brian are not spring chickens to the hobby. Brian is from Pittsburgh, Anne from Michigan and a Cedar Point regular growing up. They've been on these intarweb forums for roughly 20 years and none of this would be considered secrets. Based on the clues given it is probably A) a Cedar Point ride B) not Mean Streak. That's a wide list of potential attractions. It could be Dragster or Maverick given that both have control systems which have been rumored to not work as well with full train capacity than with 4-5. It could be the skyride. It could be a more antiquated ride like Magnum or Gemini. It could be Windseeker (which some control changes could be significant to). Calm. Down. They said "large" project, which means coaster.

  17. It's been a confirmed in-house project since the park opened for the season. Seriously.... can this rumor die already? The hints that RMC themselves dropped was clear as day pointing at Hurler. I have not seen RMC give any hints? Source? Or are you talking about the hints that Irvine Ondrey Engineering posted on fb about getting the Cedar Fair contract? Because you do know that IOE works with GCI as well as RMC, correct? Either way they said it's a large project, and all signs point to Hurler. So no, it's not entirely in-house. What leads me to think it's RMC is them saying they're booked for 2017 along with GCI already working with BGW down south. They could be giving mean streak the iron horse treatment for all we know man.. So we all don't know for sure. They said no, it's not Cedar Point.

People in the CP thread said so Guys he's right. I hope you're serious because there's clear cut evidence as to Hurler getting a major renovation.
